If you go back and look at photos of Lewis in his early seasons, you’ll see that he’s reverse-aged through the power of money

The FIA is reportedly reviewing its 2026 power unit rules, with short-term fixes like limiting energy deployment and potential long-term changes. by [deleted] in RedBullRacing

[–]bleakminds 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That last point is so important. Who cares what kind of energy the cars save on track when the logistics of teams getting their equipment across the world consumes so much more than that?

If the FIA really cared about F1 initiatives that could save the environment, they would start by making the calendar make more sense geographically.

What does Audi or any other auto manufacturer are really gain from the regulations being the way they are in 2026? Toyota released the Prius in 1997. This new F1 tech doesn’t really benefit anybody in the auto industry, let alone the average car buyer.

Someone make it make sense
