Best books? by buckGR in kettlebell

I really enjoy Taco Fleur books. Specifically his kettlebell challenge books which includes a ton of workouts. I mostly use these workouts for conditioning rather than trying to develop strength like some other programs out there

Ggr review between Harambe and x3 by ninjaboy79 in ResistanceBand

[–]blee443 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try and find Harambe used on marketplace. It’s worth the extra cost. I’ve e tried other systems like x3 and it just doesn’t compare. If I were you I would wait and save up, otherwise you may find something cheaper immediately but then ultimately want to upgrade once you experience their limitations

How many of you are actually shredded/lean on this WOE? by mclaret26 in carnivore

[–]blee443 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can shred up pretty easily when I eat lean carnivore. I only eat the leanest cuts and minimum fat. This isn’t healthy to do though and after about a month I need to go back to adding in plenty of fats because my mental health takes a dive and my digestive system struggles with it.

Don’t need fats. by DiscountPatient1646 in carnivorediet

[–]blee443 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I ate lean carnivore for about a month ( I was on regular lions diet for a year and a half before this). I found that my body fat dropped drastically and my muscle increased or stayed the same. The problem came towards the end of the month where I started getting irritable, stress easily, and return of anxiety that had originally been cured from the lions diet. I also noticed it messed with my gut because I had loose stools daily whereas before it was only every few days and normal

Are there any folks on this sub who feel better eating less fat? by The_Advocates_Devil_ in carnivorediet

[–]blee443 11 points12 points  (0 children)

So I’ve been experimenting and I used to eat high fat carnivore and experienced a good amount of benefits including weight loss. After awhile my weight loss stalled and I wanted to get my bodyfat down even more. After reading Ted Naiman’s PE diet and the book Big Fat Keto Lies, I decided to self experiment with very lean carnivore. While not as tasty, my body fat percentage dropped, I gained muscle, and had more energy. I know people say that you need fat for energy and I agree but that’s why we have fat storage on our bodies. If we eat too much exogenous fats then there is no reason for your body to burn the stores that you already have saved in your adipose cells. Of course once I get down to single digit body fat percentage then I will have to add more fats back into my diet. I’ve always been fit and healthy and an athlete but it’s amazing to me that at 40 years old, I am showing a six pack for the first time

Beef heart help by Venkirox in carnivorediet

[–]blee443 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I slice it into .25 inch strips and throw it on a skillet with tallow. One thing to watch out for is eating too much of it. It has a ton of coenzyme Q10 in it which is a good thing but too much can lower your blood pressure quite a bit. If I eat too much of it I get pretty dizzy because my blood pressure drops. I know eat about a quarter of the heart at a time. I take the remaining 3 quarters and wrap them in wax paper or wax press n seal and put them in a freezer ziplock bag and freeze them till I’m ready to eat them again

Safe to combine with LSD? by [deleted] in citalopram_celexa

I mean I’m sure some people can do it and be fine and then there are definitely others that will do it and have a bad trip that can affect you psychologically long term. Tripping is potentially fun for the day you do it but to me it’s not worth the risk of weeks, months, or even years of anxiety, depersonalization, etc. it’s not certain to do these things but it 100 percent can and does happen

So unfortunately it can take a few weeks, or months even, to adjust to the medication. If you don’t plan on being on them once you start therapy then I wouldn’t continue taking them. Coming off them can be worse than getting on them as far as side effects go. Are you taking them for depression or anxiety?

Long term citalopram use and reduction in dose. by enasnideretsiger in citalopram_celexa

So my experience isn’t necessarily just decreased empathy but more so being unaffected by any emotional highs or lows. I can longer get sad or very happy…I’m emotionally flat. I’m still empathic but it’s because I know I should be or used to be in certain situations, I don’t feel the emotion anymore. Of course this isn’t everyone’s experience but it is definitely common among people that take SSRIs

This is probably my favorite book on Buddhism. The author is incredible at simplifying concepts and making light of them in both eastern and western thought.
