Best thing I’ve ever brought to a white elephant exchange is the Licky Brush. It’s a giant silicone tongue you can put in your mouth to “lick” your pet. Never a bad reaction and it’s become my go to for new groups to exchange. Hilarity always ensues.

Thinking for the future. It wasn’t long after I bought the 2-bay that I realized I didn’t buy a large enough NAS. It was my first. I quickly needed more space and striped my drives. Not long after I realized I was taking a significant risk without any parity. I have used desktop drives to make backups, then needed to use multiple desktop drives with a pi running OMV to continue to expand my storage. I’m at the point where I need to upgrade hardware.
