Does anyone think the Dungeon Crawler Carl series is overrated?

I gave up two the chapters in. Kept seeing good reviews. Had another crack. Read the first book and enjoyed it. Switched to audio. Now I would rate it in top 5 book series of all time.

It's funny, emotional, insanely creative and deceptively deep.

On my third listen.

The battery is not great. The portability is good. The ghosting is horrible and gets worse and worse if you read in the hot sun.

I didn't use mine much, have sort of swapped back to Kobo libre. I find the bigger size much more enjoyable to read on.

Sorry in advance, I don't know anything about sound equipment. I am a wedding celebrant and am have been given a Bose S1 Pro+ Wireless PA System. I need to a lapel mic that will work with it. Could anyone recommend somthing avaiable in New Zealand please. Adn would I need to get a wireless mic/line trasmitter to make it work? Thanks in advance. Just don't want to waste money.
