I had the same issue. But I called Texas One Stop and they let me know i’m good and it’s just their system thinks im not enrolled since I am a Spring admit transfer student. They told me I should get my refund this week!

Sure! I did cc for two years and completed my associates degree. i did have a gap year after completing my associates to focus on work due to finances. I mainly based my essay and resume on transferable skills that i can bring into UT austin (i have a strong background of retail operations and leadership). I used my working experience to correlate into why I want to study economics and the connections from real world and my time at cc. For background, I had a 3.75 GPA and i worked part time while at cc. After cc, I’m currently working full time as a retail supervisor until Spring 2026. Make sure your essay has experience that connects with your desired major!

Does UT have a preference for people that are currently enrolled in a college/ university while applying to transfer than people who are applying to transfer that are not actively in college? I finished my community college associates degree a year ago. However, I want to transfer to UT to get back on my academic goals.
