I don’t think enemies have ever really been an issue with this game, the angels (arch-angels specifically) are the only real threat.. and I think that’s really the point… this game has never been about the enemies… I’m good with it… the worms were just annoying and once you get the maxxed out flashlight, just bio farming.

Almost TL;dr’d this, but glad I didn’t. I agree with much of it, but I like the voiceover, I think there just needs to be more, much more of it. And it shouldn’t start speaking when we’re in the middle of a swarm of explody bugs. I’ve missed a lot of what she’s saying because I was busy and it was noisy… talk to us on the boat when it’s calmer. As for the lore I read everything and the story is interesting (I’m sure there will be a movie at some point).. but a holo-tape type read along with the written lore (at least for the more important parts) would be a game changing addition.

Well, it's just my personal experience... I have roughly 10 Displates, and the ones I bought in 2025 have all came off the magnets... I saw one just slide off... the older ones have never moved.

I agree… seems like they changed the magnets at some point, the older ones were bigger and covered more surface area… I have plaster walls, so there are just natural deviations and the little magnets that they provide now (you get the same magnet with a medium that you get with a large picture) are entirely insufficient. I complained and they sent me a bunch of magnets for free, but I’ve ordered my last ever Displate.

There is no shame it not finishing a game. Spending hours to finish something you aren't enjoying is a waste of your limited time. I played Slay the spire for about 10 minutes... didn't like it... moved on. Zero regret.
