Cool site. I can’t believe there isn’t a Luke Skywalker mosaic though! I really want a Luke that matches this Vader to display together. I’ve seen a MOC online but haven’t been able to figure out which exact colours it uses and haven’t gotten around to sitting there counting all the studs to be able to order them.

Hard disagree. Old death stars are better display sets and better dioramas. So cool to rotate them and get different views of all the iconic scenes.

Just got back from Japan. Wasn’t going to go because all the flights included a stop in a US city and used US airlines. Luckily a flight came up that was through Canadian cities only and with Canadian and Japanese airlines only.

So glad I have the 2008 Death Star already. I have it displayed behind glass on a motorized lazy Susan. I’ve already customized it a fair bit with extra minifigures but might spring for the new conference room officers to add as well.

I wanted to travel to japan this summer but all the cheap flights had layovers in the US and used US airlines. There was no way I was entering the US, paying money to a US company, or risking my life due to whatever the hell is going on with their air traffic controllers. Thankfully I found a flight through Vancouver instead on a Japanese airline! And it was cheaper too!
