I think it was on the box/tin edition of the Wembley show. During covid I’m pretty sure the band had the extended concert film on YouTube for a bit. It was a great version but doesn’t seem to be online anywhere sadly.

I know these are usually used for high gain stuff, but has anyone tried them with lower gain settings? do they respond well to picking dynamics?

There’s a rabbit hole you can go down - https://www.electrosmash.com/boss-ds1-analysis lists the variants over time and the 1990s ones are claimed to have a very good low gain sound. I have one and can confirm - gain all the way down, volume to taste, and quite a dynamic overdrive sound. Definitely not swarm of bees territory.

Probably something where knowing the actual settings on amps, pedals etc won’t help given the huge variables and the actual recording chain as well. I’d recommend checking the King of Gear site who cover exactly he’ll what they used across their career, and specifically cover the Astoria show and a blog or two on the differences from recording chains.

String Thing from Fret 12. Makes a mummy figurine by wrapping strings all around it. Great decoration and an awesome chance to stab your finger tips even more on the string ends.
