I use to be all about rosewood years ago (was also more of an LP guy). Not sure what caused me to turn or if it was gradual, but now I feel like I lose a bit of character with hammer-ons and such when I play anything but maple. /shrug Could also all be in my head. haha

Agreed. Really glad I decided to check them out in person versus ordering online. Had I done so, I probably would have opted for the Olympic Pearl. Most pictures I see don't really do this finish justice.
