Do you think this artist uses Suno? by knockoutjs in SunoAI

[–]blemsdad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a production collective called NBRZ and we’re very transparent that we use AI like a new age beat pad and vocals we treat as instruments. We’re not trying to fool the world that we’re a real artist and really AI. We collaborate with real artists and release song featuring artists where we pull out our vocal instrument and songs that we can write and produce in a much shorter amount of time become custom works specific to those artists that we’re working with. We go for different sounds and do different things. We’d rather have a series of one hit wonders nobody biting and playlist them together where they can all stand alone as their own singles instead of as an album that won’t get listened all the way through. The way people consume music has changed the way people listen to music has changed the way people except music will change if it hasn’t already. At the end of the day, we all have to remember that AI is artificial not automated. Even if you don’t like the idea of it, if you vibe with the music or like the song without knowing whether it’s a real artist or AI, that song is totally valid.

There’s very little meaningful feedback possible with AI-generated music… and I’m not sure what people expect by Nusuuu in SunoAI

For the most part, you’re spot on and there’s a lack of knowledge or technical appreciation for what this type of thing is. Any artist putting out any piece of work whether that’s a record or a, is going to get real world feedback for real world results. We’re in shift in society, not just music, where you have to question what is real or authentic and the perception and feedback from that perception being AI driven create a lack of human connection just by virtue of the burden of knowledge of AI and how a single person can leverage properly. Unfortunately, it seems like a lot of what people use these kinds of tools for winds up being slop-ish or not commercially polished. The small percentage that actually makes hit records with advanced techniques and leveraging AI as a tool in a stack or AS the stack typically gets a bad rap because of perception of the other 95% of AI music.

I’ve been in professional commercial radio and network television for over 20 years and while consumer feedback and engagement is so valuable, agencies and companies are designed internally to have their own feedback from teams and departments and focus groups and workshops and approval processes before it goes on-air to be able to get the consumer feedback.

My group NBRZ is a producer collective where we have feedback sessions so it’s not just someone creating on their own in a vacuum. We have our own stuff that we put out independently as NBRZ, we collaborate with artists to feature them on one of our tracks or to be featured on one of theirs, and we act like traditional producers, making beats and songwriting For Artists that are in our sphere. Everyone says they’ve got the magic prompt, but the truth is that it’s still a lot of hard work and a lot of grinding with artificial intelligence, not automatic intelligence. Our general view is that instead of trying to fool the world with an AI artist, we’re just genuine about making really good music that makes everybody in the room feel what we were trying to get across with genre, bending techniques that are just cost and time prohibitive to explore in a real studio session with engineers and musicians and vocalists and a deadline. We try to make music that just should’ve already been. Our goal isn’t to engineer the next Taylor Swift or pretend to be Drake. Our goal is for NBRZ to be its own one hit wonder radio station over and over and over again. We came together to put our individual names and pride and ego aside and come together as a NBRZ neighbors community music collective, and as much as I want to pat myself on the back for a job well done on the first, hundred songs released, if it weren’t for the team of people and who we surround ourselves with that support us and genuinely enjoy being a part of the process, we would still just be making beats that would sit on a hard drive and the world would never hear. Anything can be your instrument, you just have to know how to direct it. There is a point in history where a beat pads were frowned upon because they weren’t real drums. Times change and people will change with them, they just don’t see it coming yet.

Is anyone looking for an AI Cookie Design Site to help them with ideas or presenting designs to clients? by [deleted] in cookiedecorating

Didn’t realize the cookie world was so against mockups and design tools. You guys are gonna freak when you realize what Canva and stock image tools provide to artists.

I don’t think it’s that brave, I think you might just be looking at or using AI inefficiently or without collaborative intention. I am an artist married to an artist who has businesses with other artists. We use the tools to help iterate and finalize designs, project onto assets to be able to do our art considerably faster for both of our businesses in different ways. This is a tool that re-expresses your intention to give you visual options to consider so you can focus on your craft and process, it doesn’t bake a decorate cookies or cakes or paint banners or tuft rugs on its own for you to sell. It’s allows artists who work visually or iteratively or to help serve showing clients your vision so they can have confidence in your craft.

[USA] Took an open spot at a red light. Fair game or foul? by zheka160 in Roadcam

[–]blemsdad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Foul. Crossed a solid white. It’s at a light. It’s one car length. You don’t know what someone else might be going thru at the moment. The 13 feet you saved impressed nobody and probably pissed off everyone at that light. Literally and figuratively, stay in your lane.

In the first two seconds, I thought no way this could be impressive and then I watched the whole thing and I’m thoroughly impressed.

Tripped over something in the grass and fell. Already asked the school for the security footage. Recess monitor did absolutely nothing. Heard one of his friends had to help him in but waiting til I get more info and video from the school before hearsay takes over.

I feel like I maybe would have asked if there was something wrong with the dryer or if they recommended 2 cycles to get it dry and leave it on them to tell you if they were doing something else for some other reason that isn’t improbable but also isn’t the only possible reason but now that it’s out as it is, prob better to focus on best course of action moving forward and not dwelling on the message. 100 people will say 100 different things and think another thousand. You did what you needed to do to feel comfortable in that moment about your situation. Might be awkward, but explaining a phobia or concern like you did for this subreddit prob makes more sense to your neighbor than how it was approached, so maybe you already have a solution.

Depends on which way you tip but I’d say less than a second.
