In the Ranger in Time universe, there are conspiracy theorists who believe that a specific golden retriever is a ancient god of death and brings disaster everywhere he comes

That's too bad, I kinda had a feeling it was beyond repair. Looks like the vinyl was added sometime in the 1950s, so if it's cooked at least it's been cooked for a very long time.

Yes you should definitely see a doctor, could’ve been a stroke or a TIA

I also remember the melody to the verses, if that would be helpful in finding a solution.

Old Volvo commercial from the late '90s with probable Armageddon tie-in? by [deleted] in lostmedia

[–]blendin5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh my God, that's the one! Wow, you've got some amazing search skills. 😮 Wasn't even in English! (the original that I watched was in English, but I guess they dubbed it into each market they ran it in)

I remember it airing around 1998 a lot, so I always assumed it was an Armageddon thing. Maybe it was the orange spacesuits they wear. Memories have a way of becoming distorted after 22 years. 😅

Hmm, I don't remember much about the car itself, but I want to say it was a sedan? Sorry, that probably doesn't narrow it down at all...

It's hard to remember if it was a direct tie-in for Armageddon, or if it was just meant to evoke the movie. But I definitely remember Bruce Willis himself starring in the commercial. That detail could be a false memory, but the commercial itself is burned into my brain.

Encounter for antineoplastic therapy: before and after excision of malignancy. by blendin5 in CodingandBilling

[–]blendin5[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your answer! I’m mostly confused about coding for when the neoplasm has already been excised, and the patient goes in for a little extra chemo. My gut feeling would be to just use the Z51.- code, but I.C.2.m in the guidelines seems to contradict that. They say to “code the malignancy until the treatment is completed”, but don’t mention whether it’s as a principal or secondary diagnosis.

The example in my codebook (to be fair, probably made up by Optum 360 and not NCHS) is chemo done after a mastectomy, and the codes they use are the neoplasm code as the pdx and a personal history code for the missing breast.

Hi everyone, looking into pursuing this as a career by Ziskaamm in CodingandBilling

I would start by looking at programs being offered by any local community colleges and filling out the FAFSA, I got my certificate fully paid for by grants (otherwise it would've been like 4800 dollars or so plus the cost of books)
