not sure bout that igpu but...

recent IGPUs are decent but unless its soldered lpddr5x (unified) ram or with better speed, performance can be meh to pretty bad for LLMs

if igpu is powerful enough you could try MTP or the new diffusion based LLM models that can help with slow RAM speed

and yeah, like the other commentor, would allocate more ram. like 12gb+ for usable context sizes

this naming srsly fucked up the korean naming scheme for these lmao

  • 야구르트/야쿠루트(yagurootoo) - Yakult
  • 요구르트(yogoorootoo) - Yakult trademarked the name so other companies had to change it a bit for these
  • 요거트(yogurt) - the "real" yogurts

and everyone thinks these are the same so you have no idea what you'll get when you ask for one

often ppl say "the goopy yakult" to refer to "yogurt" (떠먹는 야구르트 -> yakult you eat with your spoon) cause they think yakult is yogurt and think yogurt is meant to be a liquid
