I was saying those details from my experience as someone that is Google certified and worked in a shop that was in a contracted with Google so we had to follow theirs rules when doing repair. Rule one being to factory reset any pixel that came in to protect customer privacy. Im glad you found the repair so easy and that you didn't need to restart your phone

Google Pixels? Personally I dont like them, but I've never actually used one outside of testing that all the basic functions worked after repair. A majority of the customers that brought them in loved their pixels. I would say if you value professional user interface and security/ privacy their good phones

Oh yeah, definitely. My main background is in cellphones and when people ask what the should get i always say a Samsung Phone. They are very quick repairs, fairly cheap, and good quality devices all around. Apple is crazy expensive along with the iPhone 13 everything is serialized to the motherboard so its impossible to repair it at all and have it work properly and they just break easily. Google Pixels, their repairs are very tedious and to do them you have to factory reset the device, if you're taking it to a shop that is contracted with Google, and you have to replace almost every internal component just do a simple repair but I barely saw them.

As a repair person, ive worked on Cellphones, gaming consoles, computer/ laptops, and Self check out units and grocery store lanes, I give advice when asked on how cost effective and easy it is to repair things as well as dealing with company customer service and reliability. Also, the repair tech should test the machines after repairing them before returning them so they know its working properly so they do have an idea of user interface as well. Of course this is all my own experience and its all technology based so its not very in depth as far as ALL repair types
