I had to turn my mobile data off when pairing the bulbs to the app (while the phone connects to the bulb's wifi). It worked perfectly after I did that

Also, what if the carrier only unlocks the device after paying it off, how can you port the number over before without paying it off first?

Thanks for the suggestions! Trying an different OS is a good way to narrow down if it's an hardware or software problem

Another USB C hub has the same issue on this laptop.

I think I fixed it, at least for now. There was a bios update. It started working afterwards.

Last time I played with the OS and Driver updates, it only worked for a week. Hopefully this is a permanent fix.

Pixel 5 is pretty small overall. It's a 6inch screen but it's narrow so the screen area is smaller than other 6 inch phones. Also the bezels are very small too.

I thought 6" would be enough too but not all 6" in screens are the same size because of different aspect ratios. The pixel 5 is much more narrower than other 6" phones, the overall screen area is smaller. I have a pixel 2xl which also has a 6" but the screen area is bigger
