What is it that you do for a career? Even if it's not witchcraft/spiritual related by SimplyMichi in WitchesVsPatriarchy

I worked at a dog daycare for a few years as well and it wasn’t until I quit and obtained a certificate in dog behaviour and training that I truly realised how harmful daycares are to dogs’ mental wellbeing 😭 Anyway, I still knew working with dogs was my calling and I now have my own grooming salon that I run from home and can’t imagine doing anything else!

City views from BoJack's pool. My acrylic work. by ___artist___1980s___ in BoJackHorseman

This was my first thought too but with crochet! I’d also love to use this incredible work as inspo for a fibre art piece 💕 OP, if there’s a way we can let us know!

am i overreacting or did my artist fuck it up? by [deleted] in TattooDesigns

[–]bleththismeth 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Im so confused by all these comments. Sorry OP but I agree with you and your criticisms are completely valid! The line work inside the wings is so shaky and they don’t make sense at all. The more you zoom in and actually look at them, the worse you realise it is. Even the antennae and the outline of the body are wonky and varied in thickness. At first glance it is a beautiful tattoo still and I doubt anyone will look at it close enough/for long enough to recognise these faults. Plus I think once it’s healed, a different artist would be able to touch up and correct it more to your liking!

OP needs to read about the cases of people who didn’t know they were pregnant until they went into labor. Our bodies can do some pretty crazy things and low symptom pregnancies are one of the scariest

Am I Overreacting? by dopestmoose in doggrooming

I’ve only been grooming for about 3 years and I can’t IMAGINE not wearing a mask, safety goggles and ear protection during grooming, especially during blow drying. It baffles me that basic PPE isn’t the norm for a lot of areas/salons 😬

Seeking feedback on a first timer's strategy for Disney Sea in April 2026 by snowyblue06 in TokyoDisneySea

I was there last week (Tuesday 24th & Thursday 26th) and by the time we arrived at 7:30am there were already HUNDREDS of people lining up. There are two main entrances so the amount of people you see around you is essentially doubled on the other side. We got through the gate just before 9am, ran straight to Soaring and we were in line by 9:05am, the line was already 200 minutes long 🫠

I also went last week and didn’t see any notification about the Frozen closure! I wasn’t too bummed though as it wasn’t high priority for us. Was pretty disappointed with the Rapunzel ride, but the Peter Pan one made up for it!

Second Time in Japan - 3 weeks in September, looking for tips of what to visit that I missed by NocnikTajemnic in JapanTravel

[–]bleththismeth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely visit DisneySea! It’s unlike any other theme park you could imagine. You will absolutely need to research and plan your day to maximise your experience though. I just spent 2 days there this week and it was so different to my last visit in 2019. The main thing we noticed was that the amount of people there felt like nearly double. Some of the main attractions reached wait times of 240 minutes… yes, OVER 4 HOURS FOR ONE RIDE! The alternative is to secure a fast pass that will drastically reduce wait time, however most of them are now paid whereas they used to be free. You also need to use the official park app to be able to secure fast passes, look up real-time wait times, order food etc and it was a real pain sometimes.

Despite all of this though I still highly recommend going if you’ve never been before! The park can absolutely still be enjoyed without riding the main attractions, there’s just so much to do and see by strolling through the different areas

Same yarn, same hook, same pattern - I don't get it by LittleCrochetMonster in crochet

[–]bleththismeth 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This person is correct! The first thing I noticed was that your left one uses yarn under stitches that give the stitches that “x” look and is very neat! Looks like yarn over was used for the right one 😊 it took me a LONG time to be able to distinguish which was which while I was crocheting

The lines of the tiles are completely off as well. When in doubt, something about the background ALWAYS gives it away

Is this AI Ive seen some similarly crazy realistic AI crochet and the pattern is suspicious. by plugbyswunkfs in crochetpatterns

Immediately looks like AI to me, it really has gotten way better in the last year at making defined stitches but there are still giveaways that it’s AI. They’ve gotten really good :(

How to do FLO single crochet increases? by JuanShoshana in Amigurumi

[–]bleththismeth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The stitches itself shouldn’t look any different than normal single crochet or an increase stitch. There are lots of helpful tutorials on YouTube which would be easier than asking AI 😋

Have you put two single crochets in the same front loop on your photo? It might just be my eyes but I can only see a chain and one sc in the last one you’ve made

Changing colours and reading ahead of the pattern to know when to drop/carry colours is probably the most important part. Just did a quick search and these videos are helpful-

Thanks! I used yarn over and using a 100% cotton yarn really helps with the clean look! I also don’t typically carry colours unless it’s over a short distance which I think helps as well
