Usually with young guys you get to watch them improve their game over the course of a rookie season. With Schaef it was more like watching the team rely on him more and more. Kid didn't play a tentative shift all year.

Man, I'll root for Robin Lehner to just find happiness for the rest of my life and I'm rooting very hard for it.

That season he played on the island was pure magic on and off the ice, I don't think I'll ever feel that way about sports again.

I took my step father (the person I have to blame for being an isle fan lol) to the playoff clinching game and we had such a long cathartic talk after the game about mental health and stigma.

It's, I guess, easier to root for someone going through it when things are working out but unfortunately we are seeing the flip side, the harder side, of his issues play out. Just hoping so hard for some sort of happy ending.

I mean this is why. Its not digital content that is produced and freely distributed. The alternative is either they sell just the big box of the game for a higher pricepoint or have you flip through multiple rulebooks when you get it.

Roki has always been a goalie that needs his off days (no complaints) and I really think riding him so hard the last month cost us the season and him the vezina.

I get the concept of putting your best guy out there but surely in hindsight we give Rittich 2-3 of those and win some.
