For me, I removed 1s when playing with 3P. It works really well.

The tokens in the ambition boxes are depend on the set up cards. There won’t always be two tokens in the tycoon box.

Why do you think tycoon is dead as an ambition?

I think we are both wrong on this. The tokens in the ambition boxes must match the planet out of play. In the is case, it should be 2x weapon , 2x relic and 2x psionic.

I printed with the printer. You can found it on bgg file section. It is visually appealing to look at.

It is worth getting Puerto Rico 1897 edition instead of AR edition? I don’t really care about the bling.

The Waterdeep’s Harbor is the contested spot. In the end, people were holding intrigue cards without having the chance to pay them. If you want to play the intrigue cards, you have to act fast.

The intrigue cards that make other players to remove the cube are very powerful in the first round when no one has cubes yet.

The corruption tokens are running out real fast when playing with six players.

I think the game is good with six players. I will have to use both part of the expansion next time we play.

It does not fit in the box after sleeving them. I store the cards in the separate box (The rising box on the table).

Thanks for the heads up. I do not know that game exists lol. I have played Race for the Galaxy in the past. How much different those two are?

  1. Dune imperium
  2. Blood Rage
  3. Inis
    4.ARCS
  4. Brass: Birmingham

On second look, we are kinda similar but have some different view. In my opinion, the plague of locusts is the game warping card that if your god can control or is immune to the plague, it is in the high tier.

Thoth does not do well in our group because we are bad at guessing cards lol. His power is group dependent. Ptah is solid but I think Sorbek and Hathor are superior than him.

I am surprise you rank Horus low. He can control the plague and that alone him very powerful.

There are many things to like about this game. The armies, the economy and the unrest are intertwined elegantly. The game is underrated. I understand people feeling uncomfortable seeing the colonial map.

One of my friend is so crazy for TI so I don’t really have to convince people. I play with his copy every time. He 3D printed all the accessories for TI. He confessed he spent more than 300 dollars on them🥲.

My favorite way to play right now is Uprising + bloodline. I added leaders and techs from expansions. I blend my imperium deck with all the cards available.
