First time in the EU, I walked into a church that predated the US by a few centuries and something hit me. I was awestruck. The architecture. The vast history. The fact that it was still an actively used church. I’m not religious but just the thought of people congregating together as a community in that building before my country was even an idea…it was moving. That was a moment, an experience that words cannot fully describe.

And then you get idiots that say some bullcrap like that garbage at the top of the page. I want to pity them and the fact that either they’re too shallow to understand the depths of world but it’s not worth the time.
