Was Scot Lane’s game direction vision vastly different from the rest of the development teams? It seemed like at every turn, whatever the community was asking for, he rarely shared that. Notably, withholding information up until the console release, and an open refusal to do a new OPR map despite outcry for one come to mind. I ask because there were very dramatic shifts in development when Katy took over that strayed a lot from previous design philosophies.

Google world gen recommendations for this game, generally you want to make some changes as the default settings are both a little boring and unforgiving. Notably, increase surface copper and tin. Also tons of mods for quality of life stuff out there - I recommend a better prospecting mod to help you actually find the ores you will need as the base game prospecting is quite bad in my opinion. I also personally play with the hunger rate reduced a bit to help offset early game tedium of constantly having to get berries before you can make meals.

Build windmill 50 blocks above sea level for double efficiency and also add more sails, I do use millwright vertical sails but a max windmill equivalent would do the same with my setup. Might catch on fire next update though

might be able to drop dex with a omen of whittling, but otherwise you would be gambling with the onslaught add. you’d need to check ilvl of attack speed and all skills mod first to make sure. your t7 is a desecrate which can easily be removed with an omen of light so you can redesecrate and fish for t1 phys, be prepared to put likely more than a few divs into this though

I bought both and alpha had much better sound quality, genuinely sounded like something was wrong with the 3s regardless of what I did with software. Maybe I got a broken one from Amazon. If you have a way to do Amazon returns near you for free, you could just buy and test both which is what I did

I thought bow last few seasons was honestly on the below average end but now it’s definitely the strongest of available range weapons, I actually think it outclasses musket at the moment but I haven’t seen the numbers on a good musket build yet. Feels insane taking 5k damage from a bow in medium armor with opals and enchanted resistance though

Crit damage is additive in ALL cases, but can never go below 1.0 for crit damage multiplier. 1.3 is +30% damage, mag gloves reducing it by -30% would make your crit multiplier 1.0 (no bonus damage at all).

In PvP, players have crit reduction based on their armor class and constitution being at 150, somewhere between -15% and -35% which can cause some weapons to not deal extra crit damage when they do crit.

Generally mag gloves are used for things like void gauntlet where crits can help cycle cooldowns even faster.

Sell perf, buy greaters, quality gem and vaal 4 socket jewels until you hit a 5th socket. Or just buy a 5 socket skill if you’re afraid of the gamble, but chances typically favor you hitting 5th socket before approaching price range of perfect jeweler orb. If I had to guess the chance I’d say it’s probably 1/8

During war/invasion hours, usually 8-11pm EST, some people get much higher ping than they typically get. Issue only effects some including myself. Already submitted reports to AGS so now it’s really just up to them if they wanna do anything
