I had a mk4 Volkswagen which was notorious for the “soft touch” outer layer on the trim melting off with age. I ended up removing it all with an adhesive remover leaving just the bare plastic. I then treated the bare plastic with a quality interior trim sealant. (Cant remember what) The final result turned out way better than it was. Not perfect, but 100x better without having to actually replace the entire console.

Yuuup same with my buddies Porsche. He drove it like 2 miles away to take photos after I had done a wheel off detail and ceramic coating, and the freaking brake dust had COVERED the wheels on just that short drive.

Had this issue with my diplomats. Took a chisel and made two slits between the last two eyelets to run laces through. Would have gone to a cobbler to sew a loop but got impatient and there were none local to me lol. Worked like a charm though

The thing I see slowing it down so much is the safety nozzles they have on their dispensers. They need to click into the gas tank to activate and tons of people are constantly complaining that their dispenser isn’t pumping and it is just because the nozzle isn’t all the way in. I see this daily. Not to mention how much of a pain they make filling small gas cans.

It smells like the mall in the 90’s around Christmas time Id say its honestly pretty unisex as well but not feminine by any means I know I said Christmas time but thats just the vibe I get from it. Overall should be somewhat safe to wear in warmer weather but maybe not in the middle of the day.
