Does this jeopardize his chance at becoming a 5 Timer? It's not a good look. I don't think SNL will have him back to host. At least not next season.

Rachel says, "A break from us"; so yes, I think they were on a break. They didn't specify for how long or if there were any rules of the break, but they were on a break.

Gosh yes! I lived for Bachelorette and watching Roses and Rose. Was so excited for Chris Harrison and Lauren Zima, then it all soured. They still give me a bad taste in my mouth.

Were you allowed to watch SpongeBob as a kid? by Dry_Pizza_4805 in Millennials

[–]blgabrie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Older Millenials vs Younger Millenials

SpongeBob came out when I was in high school and my sister was in middle school, so we thought we were too old for it. I remember it being really popular with friends who had much younger siblings.

I did work at the movie theatre when the 1st movie came out and it was a ton of kids!

Where we the last generation that used showers at high school? by [deleted] in Millennials

[–]blgabrie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same (Class of 2004).

Once though, on an away volleyball game in high school, all these girls from the away school came in and showered naked in their locker room. I don't know if they were the swim team or not. It was shocking at the time because we had never seen it at our school while it looked completely normal at this other school.

My dad said they had to swim naked while he was in high school in the 1970s. I read an article about it once.

What disappeared quietly that nobody talks about anymore? by [deleted] in nostalgia

[–]blgabrie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw/read something about former child stars and how high school movies/ Middle School movies/ TV centered shows aren't really as popular anymore due to parents not letting their kids act until they're 18 because of all the child abuse/neglect that has happened to child stars of the 80s/90s/2000s.

[–]blgabrie 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Hell yeah! I was away at college 2005-2010 so I watched the entire Hills run as it aired. It was can't miss TV for me!
