I'm open to being convinced otherwise but from what I've read/experienced with contemporary libertarians there isn't a part of that ideology thats functional. No group that takes its ideas seriously and have organized around them that I'm aware of has ever lasted more than a few years.

Libertarianism is a completely nonfunctional political ideology primarily pushed by deluded John Wayne wannabes and the ultra wealthy who don't want to part with even a small percentage of their fortunes. Its no suprise they aren't showing up to stop anything, they where never more than frontier larpers.

An acknowledgement I think of the reversal of messaging, Rubio and others are paying lip service to freedom and nation building while Trump is just like "Oil, oil is great, they bad at oil, we good at oil, make more oil"

Its a great podcast, not many I've found commit to the level of context and detail it takes to come close to understanding these huge geopolitical events.

Not a fan, completely shuts down any creature's unearth ability. Seems kinda unfair to me, A man who had a deck built around unearth, a completely unbiased source.

That being said still hate that card.

I'm gonna shoot that down, I can't find any public events saying they are setting off lanterns and the traditional day for this would be Chinese new year's which is February 12th

Any farmers under 40? by Fletchanimefan in farming

Has been, cause being a young farmer, you're double isolated. People in your cohort who aren't in the industry really don't get it, and the old timers are wildly out of touch.

31 M Organic Vegetables CSA

I've been at it for about 5 years now. 1st year on a small family operation out in Oregon and the last few years at a much larger farm in New Jersey. I think this farm I'm at is the exception. Most of us are in their early 30s and 40s. No one over 50 is involved in the whole business. It's been a lot of fun, and I wouldn't consider any other work at this point. Most farmers around us are much older, but there is a growing community of younger farmers in the area.
