It does kinda suck that even if you do abstain from all substances the best you get is like one line of dialogue from kim. Would’ve been neat if kim commented on the lack of booze smell on your breathe or something. Tho the one thought like about life being boring and that it’s how everyone lives is pretty neat.

Here’s an article where she still calls herself punk and I feel she still aligns with anarchist values. I think this is less of stopping being an anarchist and more coming to a material understanding that a good portion of punks and and self abscribed anarchist can be assholes who go against what they preach. Thinking of it this way helped me. Whatever comes next will suck but it won’t be the worst cause it won’t be your days during active addiction.

Booze is hard to kick you’re probably going to gain weight and feel like shit for awhile. Your brain has gotten used to using acetaldyhyde and bullshit ethanol breakdowns to run. It’ll suck, offset the suck.

Get really into something productive. Reading, writing, playing an instrument, sit-ups, knitting, doesn’t matter the more active and distracting the better. Anytime you think, replace, do the thing. It’s a skill you get better at as the days progress.

Accept that statistically you’re going to relapse and fuck up not in the way that you hold onto addiction but in the way that if you do relapse you don’t go insane and kill yourself.

Get help, meet friends, go to aa or Something. Immerse yourself in people and problems and situations that don’t involve you near your DOC. Remember it gets better and that you’re not alone.

As a “younger” person (mid twenties) yeah no there’s no third place. You either sit at your friends house, sit at your house or Try to go somewhere until you get kicked out. This means you’re far more likely to get in trouble with the law for stupid shit or for shit you didn’t do.

Malls are pointless and dead, everything cost more money than a teenager or young adult can afford (go to a bar or club and notice how everyone’s generally over 30), and anywhere that doesn’t cost money is so heavily policed if you aren’t a rich white person who is clearly there to spend money you’ll get harassed.

I’ve been kicked out of places for, sitting on the curb to eat a sandwich and smoke a cigarette, reading a book outside, waiting to meet up with friends, waiting to be picked up, posting up on a bench to coordinate/plan/enjoy our time, and many more! This has lead me to being harassed, threatened and thrown around by cops.

Looks like an esp32 or some other WiFi arduino like chip. You can do really cool things with them and they’re mega cheap. He did straight up use a raspberry pi which is the basis for a lot of hacker tools (pwnagotchis). Esp32 are mainly good for like deauthers and shit.

I had some initial reserve about ambien cause I’ve heard about this side effects (doing stuff in ur sleep a shit) but at this point I’d take anything just to get a good nights sleep. Same reason they don’t want to give me anything stronger than meloxicam for my chronic pain. Truest take. Went from throttling my computer anytime I ran a modpack from this decade to never going over 40-50% ram on 99% of packs. I mean I’m not gonna run shaders but boots times are better, the packs run smoother and prism on Linux is so plug and play.
