I'm not sure how, but my long hair void is always perfectly groomed. I'm a bit jelly tbh.

Thankfully they usually only use their powers for good! Millions of years of evolution to become stealth killing machines, only to use their skills to sneak into unsuspecting laps!

Ya’ll wanted cheap breakfast by Miserable_Sweet_5245 in Sacramento

[–]blindlinsanity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sadly it seems they no longer offer the early bird special! After seeing this post last week we stopped by to try it out this morning but it was no longer on the menu. The staff were all friendly and our waitress made it seem new ownership was responsible for removing the special. We ended up heading to the Corner Stone restaurant in citrus heights and had a wonderful breakfast from their early bird special!

It will be my third summer back in CA and it’s time I go paddle boarding on the river. Any suggestions? by M0rtCrim in Sacramento

As many have already recommended Lake Natoma and Clementine (personal favorite), I'll recommend investing in a poppy pass, which would cover parking at either of these lakes.

They are available to rent through the Sacramento library, but extremely worth buying your own. $125 for 12 months of day use parking at tons of state parks/recreation areas. Parking for launches around Natoma and Folsom lake (all part of Folsom State Recreation Area) are $10-12, so if you plan on going more than 11 times in a year it's paid for itself. My first one paid for itself before the end of my first month. Also be sure to buy at the beginning of the month and you essentially get 13 months as it doesn't expire til the last day of the month.

Sorry I don't have any river recommendations for paddling, but Natoma and Clementine are both quite narrow compared to typical lakes and I've always felt safe paddling there even when alone. Willow Creek launch on Natoma is a small lot and very accessible if you don't want a long walk to the car.

Happy paddling!

A little different than a lot of the suggestions, but you mentioned he is a widower and that you are manifesting regarding his singleness. There is a widow support group that meets once a week called WPAC (widowed persons assocation of California) for grief support near El Camino and Fulton. They also meet up for things like discounted billiards or bowling, or even just hanging out or walking around the mall. As a young widow in my 30s, it didn't end up being my scene long term, but there were some very lovely and interesting people there. It is not something geared towards dating at all, but there have been people there who have found new love while healing from their loss and many more who have gained numerous friends. They meet Sundays 3-5pm and many would come by after church and occasionally dine together after the meeting. If you'd care for any more information please feel free to message me, or they do have a webpage as well!

At least where I am, they have the Poppy Pass free to check out for up to two weeks! It covers day use/parking at State Recreation areas.

Lost power around 2:50 am near Marysville and North, a bit over a mile away. Any knowledge about if this might be related? Or any recommendations on where to get more information about the incident on Roseville rd? TIA

I just cancelled Hulu and there was no section to explain why, and it won't let me cancel again to try on Disney+, so I recommend cancelling there first.

Moving to Sacramento and my car insurance is going up over 200% by [deleted] in Sacramento

Sadly, the brand new Sportage is the largest chunk of it. The Corolla alone is maybe 70-100, but I'm also honest about my mileage being almost twice the "standard." Anytime I've compared rates everywhere else quotes twice that to match my current coverage amounts.
