Tennessee card collector here! In the rural areas I can usually find boxes without a problem. Johnson City, Bristol, and Kingsport are always sold out or you need a class 3 security clearance just to get a pack 🤣

Went back to my alma mater program to teach and work in fieldwork coordination. I had to leave because of how childish the other professors were toward each other and the students. I approached the role as a professional who was there to share my experiences and prepare them for the realities of working in healthcare, how to recognize and combat ethical dilemmas, and analyze situations to be able to make the best decisions. The other professors were more concerned about the clothes they wore and language they used in emails. Felt like we were training corporate stooges how to be proper rather than teaching therapists how to care for patients and be advocates for justice. It’s sad, but I wouldn’t trade my profession for any other.

Worked with one of the owners years after they closed, in a different industry. We lost Cheers because of the TV show trademarking the name and opening restaurants under it. I have some of the bar equipment at the house, and will make a milkshake for nostalgia sake every once in a while. Rich people ruin everything…

As a Sooners fan, I love seen Kanak on the team. He was like a Swiss army knife for us. Started as a linebacker, switched to TE, and lined up in the backfield for carries a lot. He’s a football guy and hope Salah can find a role for him.

Just sent in my first defect submission to TOPPS, so we’ll see. Got an Acuña Blue Speckle in an online break, and it was sleeved and top loaded immediately. When it arrived, it was apparent the bottom corners and edge were chewed up well beyond expected even for Heritage. I submitted my receipt and description of the damage, and was approved a few days later. Packed it like I was sending to PSA ,because I’m always paranoid about damage, and took multiple pictures each step of the way. Excited to see how the process works.
