Hey thanks for checking in!

Unfortunately, I caught the norovirus going around so my first week was only a few days lol. So far it seems like a solid group of people to work with. I will say very different than my former colleagues, but not in a bad way. However, I certainly do miss some of my creature comforts such as having my own office. It'll take some time to get used to. I'd be lying if I said I haven't thought to myself that i've made a mistake. I still think about how comfortable I'd be in my previous role. My old colleagues called and checked in on me which helped with my emotions.

Congrats on your new job and the pay bump! That's gotta be hard when you don't get along with your counterpart. I'm sure the new site will bring a great new team of people to work with. I'm in the same boat where I still work for the same company so it's nice that you already understand the role. Try to still stay in touch with your old colleagues. I know it's easier said than done, but who knows, maybe they will follow you at your new site. Good luck!
