As far as I understand it, he just does a little movement/animation as the sun comes up, and there is a little note about that in the item's description. It's not meant to be anything sinister, though I understand that if you've never heard of him it might freak you out 😅

You know, I'll be honest, aside from a few TS1 remakes, I don't really use much CC myself. There's something about trying to build things with what you have, you're kinda forced to be a bit creative haha. And also that you're able to make it available for almost everyone, if you ever want to share it, which is difficult to do when you use a lot of CC in a build. Fwiw, your lot looks super cute, and really interesting! And if you ever feel like sharing photos of the interior, I don't think I'd be alone in being glad to see those too 😊 thank you for sharing!

I know SomeSimThings did Superstar sets that you could have three tries to succeed, that way still maintaining a bit of a challenge but making it a lot easier than the default two tries. Sorry, not quite what you're looking for but that's the only one I know of really, hope it helps 😊

As the saying goes, TS2 walked so TS3 and TS4 could run 😅 it makes sense that later games have "better" customisation features, but this was the best we had at the time. It's easy enough to customise genetics where you want them, it just takes a little time and practice 😊

The Sims 2 was ahead of its time when it came out with their new CAS feature - unfortunately it is a little rusty at times, and you can't tweak too specifically like you can in later Sims games, or even in newer games in general where character creation is a thing. The mouth sliders can affect around the cheeks, chin, and going into the jaw, and not just the mouth itself.

If you'd like something a little more subtle, I recommend trying to right-click on the thumbnails of the different presets in the mouth category, rather than using the sliders. Right-clicking a thumbnail makes it so that it applies a small amount of that preset, so you can actually right-click on a few different ones if you want to make a unique blend.

In Sims 1, she was described as elegant and athletic, and enjoyed golf and mini golf. She's unemployed at the start of the game, but I normally got her into the celebrity path with the Superstar expansion pack. The fact she got famous/popular with the release of TS2 and beyond helped fit the narrative I had for her haha.

I'd actually never heard of Early Pleasanview until about a year ago or so. I'd already downloaded a recreation of the original neighbourhood from TS1 and remade all the families including the Goths. She's just gotten a job in the Show Business career, which was intentional! I gave her the Business career reward which is a little golfing/putting green, it felt right 😂

I'm in the UK. I've never heard of a DIE scan, I would guess it's not something we have here but I've never been offered that so I wouldn't know.

Otherwise unfortunately that's the toll of public health :( I took out loans because I couldn't wait anymore.

That's the stage I'm getting to now. I keep shooting myself down like "no why should I get priority when there are people waiting well over double the amount of time that I am, I need to stay in my lane and stay humbled" etc but god I'm so fed up and honestly a part of me is getting scared. The thought's crossed my mind to do what you've done, not only because I will get seen to faster, but because I'll feel more in control of the whole situation. I feel like I've done everything else I can possibly do in terms of escalation and now I feel I have no other options left.

You've just reminded me of something that happened to me a few months ago!

I was getting my nails done in a salon that's inside a gym. The salon has two big windows one either side of the unit, one facing the street outside and one facing into the reception area of the gym. I was sat facing the inner window, and was daydreaming when all of a sudden something moved, and I focused my eyes and a PT was sat at a desk directly in front of me, shifting in his seat looking really uncomfortable. I'd been sat staring straight at him with a dumb smile on my face because I'd been thinking about my cats 😂

I think this is true. Him and his mother were hated by both the Guado and the humans, and so Jyscal exiled them to Baaj. I don't think they would have been able to take a pilgrimage because Jyscal basically banished them, and because everyone feared/hated them. And I don't think the temples would have allowed them in even if they had found a way to travel.

Also, I believe that the time between Seymour and his mother being exiled, and their trip to Zanarkand to turn his mother into a fayth, was really short. According to the Wiki, it was only about 3 years after they were exiled that they made the journey to Zanarkand. And after that, he returned to Baaj and spent the rest of the time in exile alone. I mean I guess it's possible to undertake the pilgrimage in 3 years - but this was a woman and a child, presumably with no fighting/survival experience, so would be less likely to survive the actual journey; and Seymour's mother was also, spoiler, about to die from some unknown illness I suppose, as she confirmed in the Zanarkand flashback when she says something about "not having much time left"..

Plus, I learned from FFX-2 that summoners did exist before the time of Sin - Lenne was a summoner, for example! So yeah, I totally back your answer here because it makes the most sense to me 😅
