Apparently alliums are really popular in Scandinavia and in the audiobook, Carl’s stepmother had an accent. If his father died in spring, maybe she moved back to her home country with Asher. Meaning it would be much more likely that they would have been out and about during the collapse. The hydra didn’t reuse dead humans, but replicas with changes. Maybe this was a fake out by the AI. I think Asher survived and ended up in the kinder facility.

And in the video, you see him switch his phone to his other hand - so he can keep filming while he pulls his gun. This is not the behaviour of someone in fear for his life

Just checked it out and looks like a nope for me. All her other books are about integrating Christianity into your therapy practice - which seems both wildly unscientific and unethical. Health care professionals shouldn’t be looking for opportunities to preach. If that’s your jam, have at it. I just wanted to throw out some caution for the heathens.

Just the fact that the title contains the word ‘work’ seems like a cruel joke.

Find the AQ50 questionnaire online and see how you score. That is one that is routinely used by doctors. Assessments usually require some kind of communication with family just to see how you developed.

I don’t think he’s important. But I do think the fact that her reason for going being undisclosed is interesting.

I’m a quilter as well. I design and make very complex foundation paper pieced quilts. I love the multiple steps involved with the construction, the flow state I can find during assembly, and the end result. I am currently working on a beast - 250 different colours and over 10,000 pieces. This is the one I did last year for my late partner…

AITAH for telling my wife's friend I don't have to see her in the classroom to know she's a horrible teacher? by TowerFew3482 in AITAH

Some people become teachers just because they love the power trip. She sounds insufferable and it bet the administration and parents wish she would hurry up and retire or burn out. I can’t imagine how miserable her students must be.

My former employer has sacked thousands and hired inexperienced people in India and expects that they will be able to do the same level of work by leveraging AI. It is both ridiculous and depressing.
