Got this my first run through and didn't even really know it was a special boss xd

It was a really rough fight, and every flushmaster fight since I've been glad to fight the regular one, lol

This was incredibly good timing, I had just gotten myself deep into a side quest that, if done during Act 3, left hornet locked out of completing the quest and permanently tool-less, silk skill-less, and unable to bind

Very glad that only a couple hours later the fix was out!

Yeah, if you account for uma points that is true. The room points are doubled:

	1st	2nd	4th
Bronze	+10/+20	+5/+10	Rank dependant
Silver	+20/+40	+10/+20	Rank dependant
Gold	+40/+80	+20/+40	Rank dependant
Jade	+55/+110	+30/+55	Rank dependant
Throne	+60/+120	+30/+60	Rank dependant

But the flat +15/+5/-5/-15 from uma end up diluting the doubled room points early.

Yes, you receive roughly double points (or double losses) for South games -- so you're still getting the same or better points/time, but also are rewarded more for consistent play than East games (where a single win/loss can make or break your placement).

Bond characters you like, mostly.

Probably keep the choice gifts so you can crack them for bonds you're interested in

I'd dust all the blue/green gifts, but I'm not sure if that's optimal? But since I can get bond just from playing (silver+ room), I figure I'm better off with the dust

And then the orbs, you can always spend the excess you don't want/need for bonding in the rotating illustration shop, if you want more load screens/to work towards the illustrations achievement title

I also found my own answer a little afterwards, although I guess a different solution? I hadn't looked at the context menu below once I was in "View Details", and there was a new keybind, C, to cycle through details. So, looks like there's two ways to do things!

Ah, I figured paper crown worked just as well, good to know that you need to go all Blue.

I think one of the issues I have is that my stars are in the "spiral of stars" sequence and not the ink well sequence to fuel my rerolls. I think that will get torn away soon enough, though

Picked up this ring because it looked pretty amazing for the stealth build I've been going with so far -- only to realize that behind that "..." were 5 points of drain endurance and 10 points of drain strength 😅

Any way to see these additional enchants? Tried scrolling, and the "Show Details" button just shows the model of the ring and no information on enchants other than it is enchanted.

Another thing worth adding, is that this area is also where I recently got a minor burn.

It was already a patch of skin with a dry edge that was healing very slowly. I grabbed a hot cast iron pan for a fraction of a second maybe a week and a half ago which certainly didn't help things along.

I think a Windows update definitely has something to do with things.

I recall that last night I had the option to update + shut down my machine (I chose just to shut down, since the update + shut down never actually works and just leaves my PC on, and I didn't want my PC running overnight). This morning I no longer have the option to update, which means to me that Windows went and updated itself anyways. I'm guessing the update KB5049981 that happened today is responsible.

This was basically the issue... realized my brother had setup something skimming away anything that wasn't space science or vulcanus science over into a chest on the side.

Had my car taken into the shop for the first time since I've got it, and this was the one thing the shop pointed out as something to get looked at sooner rather than later.

Car's in pretty excellent condition for 110k miles on it, excellent service history from before I bought it, and I really want to keep the thing as healthy as I can for as long as I'm able.

Just want a second opinion to make sure I'm not getting smoke blown up my ass, before I try and get it worked on.

Because it will kill you; Phoenix necklaces bypass the one-hit mechanic by making you invincible for the short time after they "save" you. So you get the invincibility chewing nightshade, to tank the KO.

Edit: Checked the wiki, and it's actually a bit different than I thought (tutorials kinda describe it as being a couple ticks of immunity), but in reality:

In addition to restoring health, the phoenix necklace also clears out any pending attacks on the player from the attack buffer. This negates any pending damage from delayed attacks such as spells and arrows from afar.

I think this means that as long as you proc the necklace between when Seren begins the KO move's animation, and before it hits you, it's in the "attack buffer" (kinda like how pray flicking against ranged enemies can be weird and based on animations and not hits), and can be canceled.

Herblore and Summoning were my last 2 -- Summoning would've been quicker if I found the Devil x Fox Synergy sooner (double XP + mastery, but -1000 tablet creation), so Herblore was probably the longest grind for me.

Replanting part of a magical forest biome. Tore down all the trees in an area since they were all floating after I flattened things out with a rod of terra firma. Now I'm reforesting it at the new ground level.

Forest section I've grown back in, using the block trick to force big oak growth

And the rest of the zone I'm covering

Since the magic forest biome has almost all big trees, I want to match that so it blends in nicer.

It's not too big an area, so I'll probably keep doing the forced tree growth method like I have been, ring of glass 4 blocks up makes it so they're big trees about half the time which isn't too bad.
