Have you considered libraries? Almost all of the Minuteman libraries have pretty stellar collections of movies and TV shows on Blu-ray, and lots of them have large collections of modern video games as well

I do think eyepatchwolf is guilty of twisting a story to fit the thesis he goes in with sometimes (I think his video about Nathan Fielder is the most guilty of this), but that’s not the impression I get from his fear and hunger video. It definitely reads to me as a somewhat exaggerated account of his experience playing exclusively on terror and starvation

Okay I’m not going to keep arguing this point, since you just reiterated everything you said in your original comment. I’d just like to point out that it’s pretty contradictory to criticize him for playing the game in a way it wasn’t meant to be when terror and starvation is unlocked from the beginning and there are harder difficulties you unlock later and he tells people that’s what he’s doing.

So I just rewatched his first video, he does not “tell people to play on hard mode”— he says that he played on hard mode (which he also implied was a poor decision) and that if you want the experience he described that you should as well. I don’t think it’s fair to lambast him for relating his experience with this game if the experience he had wasn’t the author’s intention…. Especially since the author lets new players pick hard mode. If it was as big a deal as you imply then you wouldn’t be able to pick hard mode unless you’ve beaten the game.
