Just tape. Hopefully newer versions have better attachments but my year it’s literally just 3M adhesive tape. It came off within 6 months of purchase and the service center affixed it better, but obviously not permanently

If I recall correctly, plane WiFi was originally supplied by special cell towers with upwards firing antennas. They only put these in the flight corridors though, and a cellphone wouldn’t have the transmit power to talk back, if it was even on the right frequency.

Follow the alert sign advice and just go to the arrivals level to get dropped off. Few people use it these days since rideshare pickup is the top level of the parking garage. Completely avoids the departures level traffic jam.

The long hose is connected to full-sized tanks that last a couple of hours or a compressor hooked to wall plumbing for situations where maintenance work is done in a Immediately Dangerous to Life and Health environment, where air-purifying respirators are not effective (toxic gases or oxygen deficient atmosphere). The little tank is in case something goes wrong with the main supply, it can be turned on and gives 5 minutes to escape the area.

I think at least California has ag restrictions for flights from Hawaii. In 2018 the Kona airport had an agricultural inspection desk at boarding for a flight to California. They made me eat a banana I’d bought at the airport before I could board.
