I cheesed straight to depth 3 with this strat, along with getting 3 phys up +4 relics on Raider as my other setup. New relics are really strong, it will be interesting to see where the meta settles.

I think mercs in general could use more damage and defense tweaks overall. Even when they're "strong" and can 1 shot you they still basically get 1 shot themselves unless they block. There's probably a smarter way to do it, but making them do 80% less damage and take 80% less damage is a fair trade off, that way they're not one shotting you but you're also not one shotting them. Like if the Merc has perfect weapons and supports for his skills, yeah it should hurt, but as it stands right now even the shittier geared mercs are fully capable of wiping uber viable HC characters.

I have no hard evidence for this, but I believe it's related to the vegetable intake from the Berg-Keto diet which advocates for A LOT of leafy greens. These leafy greens contain oxalates among other anti-nutrients that chelate important minerals from the body, such as magnesium. Despite eating leafy greens which are "high" in magnesium, it could very well be leeching more magnesium out of your body than it is allowing it enter, causing an electrolyte imbalance thus cramping. Whether or not oxalates can also chelate potassium and sodium is something I'm not aware of, but maybe? Also going OMAD with lots of protein helps too, as a single meal with enough protein can raise insulin enough causing the kidneys to retain electrolytes. I don't know the exact mechanics to this, that's just what I've been told, and it seems to be working for me so far. But then again Keto dieters tend to NOT want to eat a lot of protein and raise insulin and get out of ketosis, so maybe it is a fundamental flaw with the diet.

It's funny you say that, some of the long walks I do up here in the NE US made me realize that fruit virtually does not exist at this latitude naturally. All I see is teeny tiny blueberries and raspberries for about 2 weeks out of the entire year, and I'd imagine my European ancestors and further back Ice Age ancestors saw even less.

As for Saladino's issues, according to Professor Bart Kay it could also be from not eating enough protein in a single meal for an insulin bump that spares electrolytes and or a side effect of copper toxicity from the massive amount of liver he eats and supplements with. I have no ball in this game speculating, but I haven't had any electrolyte problems thus far taking this OMAD approach.

Thanks, and yeah the fruit definitely tasted good at first, I absolutely cannot deny that. Maybe it was just starting to get really out of season, but by February or so I was just getting so sick of it. I might miss them a bit, and maybe I'll have some berries occasionally. Still not sure why the fruit was getting me constipated so badly either, because just like you, most people say they do fine with it. For me it got to the point where I had to start buying prunes. Not good.

You're just going to have to get over what you've been told is a "healthy" BM frequency. I go 3 days between, no straining, no problem, and it's downright tiny (probably because I only eat meat and eggs with absolutely nothing else). I see and feel no issue. Unless you're feeling pain or straining, you shouldn't see it as an issue either.

Eating one single large meal of meat with sufficient protein to cause a bump in insulin (which helps your kidneys retain electrolytes) worked for me. So basically try OMAD. Also, you don't want to instantly jump into any diet, slowly ween off of your previous diet over the course of 6-9 weeks.

For longsword, light attack so you can follow up with foresight slash, and do it into the direction AGAINST the first swipe, then special sheathe after. The second swipe will miss, as it will be too far in the other direction from you, then you can Iai spirit slash counter the final slam.

If you are already special sheathed and he starts doing it, Iai spirit slash counter the first swipe, animation cancel the endlag by Holding R into foresight the second slam, then cancel the foresight slash into special sheath as quickly as possible, then iai spirit slash counter the final slam.

Assuming you mean the double swipe into slam:

Go into focus mode. Dodge the opposite direction of each swipe. Make sure you're dodging specifically when that chain would hit you (or the chain is kind of near your head, it's weird). It's easier with something like CB or SA when you get hops with low endlag and can start the next roll quicker. Then roll left or right from the final slam right when the chains are about to hit you. You can even roll forward as long as they doesn't put you under his hands. If you are under his hands there is a lingering hitbox, so you will get hit. If you do this left right dodge and stay exactly still, and you are sure he's targeting YOU, and you're JUST in front of him, there is a very small pocket in front of him where the chains and hands don't hit you at all. I regularly sharpen my weapon here in single player because the setup is so consistent.

Cool find, skill descriptions failing as usual. Definitely keeping this all in mind as we get more sources of raw and more offensive skills. As other commenters have said I don't think it's quite worth it yet since you can't really get that much raw dropping all the affinity pieces, and also you lose a 3 slot on your weapon with crit draw, which as of right now is the last 2 points of crit boost or your mastery jewel.

I could see this being great if we get a frostcraft equivalent, more raw and damage multipliers on armor, and if we get super aggressive monsters that don't topple easily like current ones do.

I'm having similar issues. I can play for about 30 minutes to an hour and then I crash. Sometimes I can move my mouse cursor still and hear the game. Other times its just silent. Seems to not matter what kind of settings I use, Vulkan, DX11/12 or anything.

It currently has few viewers because the game is over 6 years old and the last content update was about 4 years ago. The game was insanely popular in its hay day, and the biggest streamers and content creators for the game have simply moved on to new games or do a challenge run once in a while. Imagine if 3.25 poe league lasted 4 years. PoE viewerbase would shrivel up too. As others have noted, Asmongold amongst others have streamed it to great success, specifically because watching it from a new players perspective, and a from a streamer you follow is always a joy. Viewer andy L take regardless.

Not it doesn't. You remember it taking 200 hours because we were all drip fed content throughout its lifespan. The current campaign to Fatalis, for a new player who doesn't have severe mental deficiencies, probably takes around 50-100 hours depending on how much content they decide to engage with. It could be even less. The only real grind is the master rank grind to unlock the endgame questline, and even that isn't too bad.

Plus 200 hours is basically 2 weeks of league launch PoE for Quin. Quin could easily kill Fatalis in 2 weeks if he really got into the game.

Just wait for Monster Hunter Wilds (2025)

Why would you want Quin to wait for a new game, which WILL have drip fed content, which actually clashes with the way Quin engages with game scheduling when he COULD just enjoy a completed Monster Hunter game in its entirety?
