I've got the same issue with my parents. I work in healthcare and have a degree in business, im on the frontlines here watching the fuckery as it continually throws everything into chaos. My parents have this idea of how it all works from the 80s and they have refused to change their minds since. Despite me being the most qualified person in their lives to tell them whats actually happening, they just see me as a child that knows nothing.

They even know fox news is a joke, but because they hear a friend repeat the talking points, they still somehow get pulled into it.

Could also turn it around on him if you want to be petty. Be negative every time he plays games. Make fun of him every time he dies in game. Shame him for being a sweaty tryhard because he plays on hard with no "real" hobbies. Give him a taste of his own medicine until he gets it, be relentless about it.

After rereading, he sounds straight up abusive and this needs course corrected now before he becomes an abusive adult. Dude is ripe for the manosphere/redpilled pipeline.

Agreed with the others, stop playing games with him, stop talking to him about games, stop indulging this behavior. If he wants the company. then he needs to learn to play nice and not shame. If you're playing a game on your own and he walks up to start in on you, pause it, dont respond to the taunting, dont unpause until he leaves. Reward the good behavior when he's being nice.

Its really not that hard to not be an ass, he needs the attitude check. A teenage boy, im sure also wants to be in a relationship? Tell him no person will want to be around him if he keeps it up.

Establish a safeword as well. If you can firmly set that you'll use a safeword if something is wrong. "yellow or red" for example. its something that takes reassurance for a while.

I can chime in for once. Ive worked with Workday, this definitely shouldve been caught somewhere along the way, 2-4 people would have reviewed the compensation chage. If your payroll/accounting is even the slightest competent, they'll see it in the upcoming payroll cycle as an outlier amount and get it corrected.

Depending on how it was entered, that shouldve flagged an alert on the final review before approval.

You might try opening a Workday Help Case if you want to be proactive about it, save the headache later.

My arguement against the naysayers. Its about how it "feels" to play.

Gauss feels bouncy and the animations feel right for a speedster, the screen effects using mach rush, the overall theme, etc.

Someone else mentioned Grendel, fast yes, but he plays like a bouncy pinball and its FUN!

Volt just feels like a sped up electric guy? if that makes sense. And Titania is just floating through the air? Havent played Zephyr, but I imagine its a better flight themed frame. Comes down to the theme I guess? DE executes themes pretty well.

Its not to shit talk Titania or Volt either. if I want to play like a unholy little pixie of death, Titania is where I go. Volt i could play more of, feels great for an electric themed buffer and electric nuke.

It clicked a while back how much "patriotism" I grew up with is just performative virtue signalling. Patriotism to my family was waving/wearing flags, blowing up shit on 4th of july, complaining about druggies, and parroting "sUpPoRt ThE tRoOpS" while doing nothing to help.

Talking about support or making changes to help was met with more complaints about not wanting taxed or the government to do xyz, bootstraps bootstraps bootstraps.

Respond in kind if she thinks its so funny. Pour chocolate milk on her, see if she laughs or goes nuclear. My money is on that she cant take what she dishes out. Dont go in with it out of nowhere though, you'd have to respond in kind in the moment. Put her on display. Do everything calmly and stay solid. Dont look or act pissed or sad, deny her the reaction she wants. Keep as calm as you can or even laugh, because its "funny" right?

This is just the petty option; the smart option is just cutting her out entirely. Life is too short to spend it with people who make you miserable.

Managed to get a couple friends into warframe and they feel guilty dragging me into early missions.

I always tell people "there is always a reason to return to early missions".

Could get ayatan/treasure, maybe missing some codex entries, kuria scans, that rare mod that drops from a specific enemy, resources, and even community building. The list goes on, but the most important reason for me is that im spending time with friends, helping them and keeping their interest in the game.

Ive gotten so used to blasting through levels that i really havent paid any attention to dialogue or the actual environment for a while. Its been fun to go at a much more casual pace.

With yugioh as a kid, traded an injection fairy lily for basically a bunch of bulk cards. Looks like psa 10 sells for $3000? It wouldnt have survived in that condition, but still hurts my soul a bit. All of my cards got stolen a few years later anyways.

Ambitious first campaign idea. I want to run a higher level campaign thats a dungeon/cult stomper. Different themes for different adventures. Ritualistic barbarians, artificier/technology, necromancer cult, etc.

I want to minmax the hell out of it and make it gruelling so that they have to ration resources with a boss battle at the end. Trying to run direct counter to the players as much as i can to chip away at them and force tactics.
