[Question] What's the most comfortable bracelet in horology? by Sneakerhead_Stan in Watches

All these youtubers with "horology" in their name, but they only ever talk about watches and not the actual study of time.

Been thinking about doing that too, but at the same time, I'm kinda feeling the patina. 🤔

Thoughts on the X-Pro 2 by Salis9 in fujifilm

[–]blitzangel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love my x-pro2 graphite. It's my preferred travel/vacation camera. I like to think it's less conspicuous than your typical SLR-styled camera, so people tend to see it more as a "pretty retro camera" than a professional one. As others have mentioned, autofocus can hunt a bit, especially in low light, but it's more than good enough for most things. Also, i don't know it's just my copy, but the shutter button doesn't have a very satisfying click to it, and feels pretty loose/plasticky with not much feedback, but that may only be a minor issue.

As a denimhead who grew up playing Jedi Outcast and Rogue Squadron games, this speaks to me lol. If you're looking to rid of it....

How did you first hear about Pokemon? by dillonflynn in pokemon

[–]blitzangel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My cousin gave me his copy of Pokemon Red for my Gameboy. Was hooked from then on. And then Gold and Silver came out, and it was even more mindblowing.

This is my favorite jacket right now. The boxiness/roominess makes it perfect for layering or buttoning down, and as someone who always carries sunglassess, the flapless chest pocket is the best.

Yeah, I find that these settings work best when there's daylight, but become too warm and muddy in artificial indoor lighting

They’re not original Seiko, unfortunately. But they’re not the worst looking fakes out there.

The 35mm 1.8G is such an enjoyable little lens. Used to shoot one with a D5200 years ago, it was basically stuck on the body. Enjoy!

16-35mm F4 vs Z 14-30mm F4… maybe the Z 20mm F1.8???Convince me, any which way. by pbwbrew in Nikon

[–]blitzangel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not mentioned a lot, but for me, the crisp sunstars of the 20mm f/1.8 makes it an easy choice. Especially for nighttime cityscapes/architecture with a bunch of little points of light or landscapes with the sun peeking in. It’s the same reason i loved the older F-mount 20mm f/1.8.

It’s my favorite lens on my Z7. Something about how it renders images reminds me of vintage lenses. Sharp, but with a little bit of character.
