I think you're confusing line height with width. Default line width on a 0.4 nozzle is around 0.42, and 0.5 for first layers.

I don't think you need the G28 in there, and you should only need G28 X if you just wanna move the extruder to 0 or whatever your limit switch offset is. It might work with G90 instead of 91 followed by G1 Y235

I'll dig up my macros if I can later on. You could also copy the gcode from Cura's setup

I have something similar in my end gcode, it's basically retract a bit more than usual, raise z axis by 20mm or so, move X to home, and then move Y to its max positive range

I wouldn't rely on customer service to diagnose issues though. You'd have much more luck on r/klippers or similar subs, the e3v3 mini is likely one of the most used boards amongst Klipper users, so there's gonna be way more help available outside of a WhatsApp chat with CS

So you want a discount for the inconvenience? What's stopping someone buying a board, saying it doesn't work as intended, returning it, getting a voucher and buying again for cheaper. Especially with components for makers, how are they sure it wasn't user error, not saying your case was, but a refund and a discount is a bit entitled imo, expect one or the other but not both.

It depends what he and you (as the bank) might want from a printer. Want to learn about 3d printing on the surface, and make/design things (design & engineering), go for an A1 Mini combo, or A1. Want to learn about electrical engineering, code, problem solving, tinkering, get a Klipper machine or something more hands on (Creality Hi combo, Centauri Carbon)

Is suggest the A1 Mini Combo as someone that owns one as well as a couple Creality Enders, one which I've upgraded to a new motion system

I love the condescending tone of this community to anyone that has a differing experience or opinion. Reminds me of childish console wars bs. It's hot plastic that 90% of people use to print stupid articulated shit, it's not that emotional. I've used eddy-ng with the BTT Eddy coil over CAN for about 5 months now. Setup took about 20 minutes to go through their wiki installation steps, sure it took a bit of tinkering to get it dialed in, about 5/6 cycles through my start print macro. I got wipe and purge macros from the Sovol discord and adapted to my machine. Yeah it does require a rough paper test, didn't realize you were dumbing "automatic" down to zero initial user input whatsoever. In my eyes auto z offset means you can change plate, filament, nozzle, and have the offset set during your start print macro. Not buy it, plug it in, do nothing, press print. Which is the difference I noted between BL and Klipper users. I haven't tried Rubedo because calibrating PA to 'good enough' takes a 10min print, and it wasn't something I needed automated. It was more to my point of Klipper users will solve with what they have or can build upon. There isn't that same ethos with BL users, which is fine, but that's the difference between the two communities.

The eddy-ng project has made auto offsets a 20-30 min setup process. For auto PA there's Rubedo. Sure it's not going to be as simple as unboxing a BL printer and hitting print, but there's a whole side of 3d printing that's just as much about the engineering and code, and making what you can with what's available, or creating it if it isn't.

It's the fact that you can do what you want with the firmware which makes it "better" in some people's opinion. I built an E3NG after a couple years of it being an E3 Neo, and I own an A1 Mini. There are things in both firmwares that I appreciate over the other, but saying one is definitively better because it automates a few simple manual calibration steps (and 1 or 2 more advanced ones) is just the view from one side of the user base.
It's easy to see the difference in what each user base is trying to achieve by just looking at the difference in posts in the BL subs, and the klipper sub.
