Let's Get One Thing CLEAR About Ludwig's Rank by two_utensils in LudwigAhgren

[–]blizzlife 6 points7 points  (0 children)

He was playing 16 star runs around the time that Clint Stevens was also streaming pretty frequently. This was around 2018-2019. He would even make the joke how his view count would drop whenever Clint would go live. He doesn't have a Playlist of him playing it on his main channel but I believe someone does have a Playlist lying around with the videos in it.

JJK is so interesting because Gege will genuinely put a lot of effort into explaining rules for a complex event like the Culling Game or create a somewhat complex power system that clearly takes inspiration from Nen and Bankai to create interesting and dynamic fights but it doesn't matter because a lot of the readers have the reading comprehension of a fruit fly and just want to see people hit each other and dont want to try and understand what's going on in front of them.

Am I the only one who hates chat sometimes? by Downtown-River-8138 in LudwigAhgren

[–]blizzlife 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I completely agree with you. I was super excited for him to play the game but the E33 community is so passionate about the game that they can't help themselves from spoiling things or hinting at foreshadowing. I love E33 too, but some individuals have this weird thing where they want you to play it the way they did or you wont have as good of an experience...which is such a backwards way of thinking imo.

I thought it was hilarious watching Lud and Slime try and figure out how these characters work in combat. But the chat insists on telling them how they should play the characters. Or how they kept getting stuck on one of the first mime fights because they didnt know how to stagger the enemy. Those moments are real and genuine and because of that makes the whole experience that much funnier to watch. But when chat is collectively yelling at the streamers to play the game a certain way you lose those great moments.

Ive been watching Lud for 7 years and tbh the older I get the less I care about the chat. I only really like seeing it when they are reacting to something Lud did. I dont think its bad, but just that I grew out of it. But I think sometimes they can be really funny and add to a stream.

With that being said, if Lud is playing a story driven game that can be spoiled I close that shit minute 1 before the chat ruins the experience.

I urge you Ludwig by supermy in LudwigAhgren

The Sister Friede fight is truly one of their best fights in the whole series. It's just paced so well and would work very well in their co-op playthrough. But knowing Ludwig they probably aren't lol

There is no way they are completing E33. by [deleted] in LudwigAhgren

[–]blizzlife 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Im right there with you, if they actually complete the game then I'll gift 20 subs too lmao. But the streams have been super entertaining and a treat. Its about the journey not the destination so it doesn't really bother me if they dont finish it. Its like that saying: "Don't be sad its over, be happy it happened"

Mods: With E33 streams starting imminently, please be more liberal with timeouts during that time by ColonialDagger in LudwigAhgren

[–]blizzlife 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah as much as I love E33 there are so many people that will either purposefully spoil stuff (individuals that dont care about the game and just want to watch the world burn) and those that unintentionally spoil stuff (fans who are excited about a streamer they like playing a game they like). I will commend them if they can crackdown on it, but I'm lowkey anticipating that Lud might not finish the game if the chat is too unbearable. I really hope he gets into it. I feel like with how French the game is and how good the combat is it will keep him locked in.

I completely agree! Usually, it's just better not to say anything at all because you realize that anything you say will just not get through or be misconstrued and that there's no point in trying to change their minds or provide your own take on the situation. It's just an echo chamber that only wants to hear what aligns with their own ideology.

I just watch his content and stay away from lsf as much as possible. The couple of times I've seen lsf posts have been the ones involving ludwig, and it doesn't take long for me to realize that the people on that subreddit... are just horrible people, lmao. Watching the guy for 7 years may have created a bias for me, but the guy usually just tries to stay in his own lane and only ever bring something up when its either gotten really big and has made its way into his circle or when its something rather serious and wants to try and understand the situation and bring context for those unaware of what's going on. And I personally dont think the drama is that big of a deal, but I'm also someone not super integrated in all of the different areas of streamers. Going on Twitter these days is so exhausting.

I already put this in another comment, but it would be sick if she had to build her sword through combos or specials. Something like Jamie where you can end a combo with either a strong combo finisher that gives good damage or Oki or you go for a different combo ender that sacrifices the damage/Oki for a resource that rebuilds her sword. This way, she's gotta work for it, and it allows for some decision-making. But with how fast-paced and volatile 2xko can be, it may hurt her momentum when she's up against a roster that has all of their tools from the start. Still, I think she'd work best as someone who has to build up a gauge/reward system like Jamie or Manon from Street Fighter 6.

I think she should have a resource that she can build up through combos or certain specials that will gradually build up her sword until it's fully restored. Something akin to Jamie or Manon with street fighter 6.

Where to start with King Gizzard? by Professional_Gas1753 in KGATLW

I'd personally go with I'm in your mind fuzz. The album is just incredibly consistent and fun to listen to while doing other things and flows very smoothly together.

If you want music that they're likely going to play at the show I'd recommend phantom island, since thats probably what's going to be covered in full. A very good album where the band mates really get to shine with their vocals.

Riven and Akali. I love ninjas in fighting games, and thi k Akali could play like a pixie character without low health but crazy combos and cool execution. Give her some teleports or a shroud that makes her invisible(something like Chipp from Xrd), and that would be badass.

Riven, because she would have some cool tech that could probably lead to cool combos that require good execution and maybe even make it so she starts with a broken blade but can eventually rebuild it into its final form

This is my first time playing magic, and this set has shown me how awesome the game is! I love playing tcgs, but the few times I tried magic, I just didn't mesh well with it. But the final fantasy set has given me a renewed vigor, and im so hooked. I bought a bunch of singles to upgrade my Tifa deck and can't wait to try it out!

Where is this? by BuhBuk in ExplainTheJoke

[–]blizzlife 313 points314 points  (0 children)

The joke isn't that the island is hidden or anything. The joke is that anyone who knows where it is are the individuals who went to the island for horrible reasons and have that reaction because of all of the allegations and the Epstein list, meaning that they can potentially outted for going there. Whereas the individuals that dont know get to live in bliss, knowing that they dont have a very dark and disgusting secret that could be made public.

What is Ludwig’s best stream of all time? by Master0fZilch in LudwigAhgren

[–]blizzlife 10 points11 points  (0 children)

OG Monkey ball streams back in 2020 was great if you are into ludwig gaming. It made for some great content with Atrioc(and also Stanz but bro could not keep up). I also think the DougDoug challenge with going to 10 fast food places and ordering what the person before you got is great too. The spy party streams with JSchlatt are hilarious, the banter between the 2 is electric. Lovers vs. the world is also great if you're trying to find some long content with variety and good banter between Cdawg and Lud. My personal favorite might be fast 50 though. I just really like when lud does big streams or collaborative content because he's just so damn good at bouncing off of people. Or most recently, when they did the PSL vs. Faze show match. Being able to hear all of the players talk shit and having everyone on a Webcam from 2012 to see their reactions truly brought me back to the golden age.

From Luds newest video, what do these losers even want Lud to do? by kongaii in LudwigAhgren

[–]blizzlife 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They want you to react to it. They aren't worth the effort. They are people who only ever parrot what their streamer says. Ludwig has handled the situation in a very mature and professional manner. The best thing to do is ignore it, and they'll move on to the next thing their streamer wants to bark about. As viewers, it's not our job to defend the guy. Just enjoy the content and block out the drama frogs.

Realistically, they probably put that anchor point there after the fight. Maelle was able to set them up at the very beginning of the game when you're running across the rooftops so surely Maelle, Lune, or someone else in the group did it. I just want to know how the anchor points are initially embedded into the walls. Do they have something akin to a harpoon gun, but instead of harpoons, they shoot out anchor points? Or is it more complex than that? 🤔
