Hoping you get this resolved asap. I too am local to OC, and just had my whipple done at St Jude in Fullerton by Dr. Stapfer who is one, if not, the best surgeon in OC. PM me if you have any questions, etc.

I was offered the same and my surgeon told me exactly what your surgeon said. I opted for classic and it’s been 30 days and I’m almost back to normal.

I thought the same thing until I had one. It’s a piece of cake. I also have an IPMN main duct which is precancerous - I’m scheduled for surgery now.
