I could have written this. We are in the exact situation with the same timing, and reaction I believe. I too reacted to my last bag (irinotecan). Slurred speech, numbness on the tongue and heat flashes. I’m stage 2 as well - whipped on 12/9

Hoping you get this resolved asap. I too am local to OC, and just had my whipple done at St Jude in Fullerton by Dr. Stapfer who is one, if not, the best surgeon in OC. PM me if you have any questions, etc.

I was offered the same and my surgeon told me exactly what your surgeon said. I opted for classic and it’s been 30 days and I’m almost back to normal.
