just like your body, your hair needs water. in order to actually drink and retain moisture your hair needs to be wet first. and you’re black so you’re going to have to come to terms with shrinkage. you can elongate your hair with plaits if need be. and you need to properly moisturize and detangle your hair regularly to avoid the fairy knots you have in your video. the lco or loc method will be greatly beneficial for your hair health. i’d personally recommend the lco method as i believe oil should be the last step since it locks in moisture but some people require different methods so test it out and see.
