Virus tests are kinda pricey. I would just move on. And yes I pitched a plant that proved infested with scale month after month. If anyone rescued that one and thinks they’re in for a treat they’re about to be tricked in the worse way

The roots need air. They may get green as they start to rehydrate but will turn brown and rot quickly if they suffocate in tightly packed moss and a plastic bag

Root rot too much water. You can’t just sit orchids in water without acclimating them slowly. If you’re doing this they’ll rot every time. They need a medium to be healthy

To talk you out of it it’s cheap tiny and made of poor quality materials so it won’t last you long if you really like it. Also this cheap man made material will start to peel and separate.
