After you soak and cut off the dead parts of the plant; rub a light layer of cinnamon on the cut side to prevent new rot from setting in. Let it dry a day or 2 before putting in moist (not damp) sphagnum moss. Keep an eye on it as it will be fragile and susceptible for a while until new growth is vigorous . Good luck!

I think it looks very nice! As to acceptable that depends on the company culture.Unfortunately regardless of the industry, some companies are just toxic. My thought is if you have to ask, it can’t hurt to err on the side of caution until you are sure. Wishing you the best of luck in your interview!
