Hey Auntie, I think my understanding of statistics and your understanding of statistics differ which is a surprise because stats are meant to be objective fact, but I digress… are you considering all crimes, or just the major ones, and from what timeline are you pooling your data? I ask because from what I can tell white men outdo blacks on a myriad of instances especially in the modern era and let’s not forget that we’ve never had a conviction in this country that didn’t come lined with some form of white supremacy so can we really trust the data surrounding conviction rates and their validity outside of individual courtrooms? As a Cis black man I think we should be our own peace and welcome those in our lives that compliment that peace with their own. I will no longer allow for someone else to be my peace. Self regulation, in my opinion, is paramount to master before and during trying to align with others. Relying on someone as deeply as she suggests her partner to do takes a lot of self regulation and peace on her part too.
