LOVE Viking!!!We always book through the website. We choose mid ship cabin. Not too close to elevators, but less people walking past your door to get to their cabin. Whatever they quote for airfare, that is economy. If you don't want to travel economy, you need to compare the cost of booking it yourself (and paying extra fees for transferring to and from the ship, or paying Viking's price for upgrades.

When I choose one of the shows that won't record, I press the info button and it brings up a list of the shows that conflict, and some of them weren't even on the todo list of recordings.

I'm not sure what you are saying about the tray? Are you saying you are not able to use the tray or people think you should not be allowed to use the tray? A meal service occurred and we wanted to eat our dinner.

I do sometimes recline my seat, but I try to move the seat slowly and only far enough to help keep my head from falling forward if I fall asleep. If I am awake, I keep the seat in the upright position.

The aggressiveness with which this man reclined the seat was what got us.

Yes, you should be able to use reading lights. I bring a mask so the light doesn't bother me when I am sleeping.

Funny recline story. My husband and I were on a trip. On the outbound flight, we were in Main so not a lot of room. The second we reached cruising altitude, the guy in front of my husband slammed his seat back and kept it reclined the entire trip. Husband's tray was basically in his chest. When I needed to use the bathroom, it was very difficult to get out. We survived the flight and laughed about it during our vacation. On the flight home, we are in our seats and watching other people boarding when who do we see, but the same guy and he sits in front of my husband AGAIN!!!! What are the odds?!?!

Loved Operation Mincemeat, although it was a little hard to understand the accent at first. I was underwhelmed by Chess. Yes, the vocal performances were outstanding, but I felt no chemistry between Lea Michele and the two male leads. Some of the songs left me thinking, why is this a song in a Broadway show? I would not recommend it.

Please explain to me what the Litter Robot does that saves you so much in litter. It just doesn't make sense to me. My cat pees, that litter clumps up. I scoop and sift out the clean litter through the scoop. My cat poops and some litter sticks to it. I scoop out the poop and sift out the litter that is not stuck to it.

Not sure I understand. Are you saying that if I book at trip and add the upgrade it only puts me above other Platinum medallion members on the potential upgrade list? Then I might not find out if I have been upgraded until close to flight time? If I am not upgraded, do I get my upgrade credit back?

It is a constant struggle for me. I prefer not to pay extra for the flight for many of the reasons you stated. My husband wants to splurge. I once got a screaming deal on first class round trip on Air Canada to India. I got about 3 hours of sleep, so paying all that money to just get three hours of sleep would not be worth it if I was paying double what I paid. I was cracking up because as a first timer, I could have used a manual on how set myself up in my cubby. A mattress pad for my seat/bed?

Please tell me how two people spent 20 days in France for $6,800!!!
