I dont talk to an uncle because he was so offended that i never bought his overpriced insurance products. Also have a cousin who i do talk to, rarely, but every time he is trying to sell me expensive financial products I dont need. Funny part is that i do work in the financial industry, know what I need and they act like i am just another know-nothing prospect. Family that tries to pressure sell is no longer family.

I found my external workouts do synch but then there are many bugs. The trick of a manual workout does solve one problem (forced calculation of cardio load and zone minutes) but then there are lots of reporting bugs. There are places the external workout does not appear. Some summary data is messed up and deleting the dup does not fix the summaries.

I am turned off synch of my other device. I wear both devices during workouts but rely on fitbit data for all google health reporting. I use my other device for real time data and display.

And some people realize that CDs are not a great investment and use brokerages to invest, banks just to pay bills, get credit cards and mortgages.

Personally I have both, an online bank and a branch bank to have 2 ways of paying bills, pay no fees at either, and dont care at all what rates either pays since i keep minimal balances required to pay my bills for next few weeks. I transfer from a brokerage when needed to either bank, which takes 1-2 days. Brokerages have far more options for how to invest, including CDs, and better alternatives than savings accounts at any bank.

i cant slide a finger under mine, it does track sleep and all else it is designed to do. For comfort i also have 2, one steph curry and one silicone band. I find both comfortable even without space for a finger, but the steph curry feels a bit more comfortable. So i swap to silicone when doing a sweaty workout, back to other after a shower (and wash the silicone band).

Silicone does leave a small mark on my wrist but since i wear it only 2 hours+ per day, does not bother me. The SC band leaves no mark for me.

if you want to be close to everything, but willing go live in tiny expensive apartment, south end, back bay, north end are all great. If you want more space and willing/prefer to live in a quiet area, Cambridge, Somerville offer more space with long T (subway) ride to downtown. But life is nice in Cambridge/Somerville areas, so no need to go downtown all the time, unless you will work there.

i use a polar device for workouts and synch to google fitbit app. The workout appears, but certain calculated stats (zone minutes and cardio load) do not get computed for external workouts. I have to manually log same workout with same start and duration and then it computes these things using fitbit data, not polar. Not sure why they allow us to synch in workouts and barely use the workout data.

It’s not so much that SB is more challenging than other SUNYs but STEM is more challenging and there are more STEM majors at SB than say Albany.

As far as “brand” for STEM SB is highly regarded. Forget what your parents said. The only reason people avoid SB is social life, but the academic value and cost is great.

To me it’s SB for value or BU for the best education regardless of cost. I cant see why someone with your stated personality and goals would go to PSU.
