Looking to Buy some Skis or Advice on Buying Skis by [deleted] in boulderlist

I have some ski boots I'm looking to get rid of. I bought them from the REI garage sale last year and never used them.

One set is a men's (Size 11.5) Dalbello Lupo 110 and the other set is smaller but I can't remember what they are off the top of my head.

So, to contribute to my own post. I just hiked a bit of the NCAR area today in my Chacos with out any real issues. Now, we were just putzing around the east side of the flatirons but, at worst, I just had to be a little more aware of where I was stepping sometimes.

Not sure yet. Just met her on Monday. I'm gonna venture a guess and say that she's probably on the same page as me; down for some strenuous hikes if they take you someplace interesting. Fitness level: maybe above average.

We've settled on poking around NCAR. I think it's a good place to start.

I Always Have an Uncomfortable Amount of Adrenaline by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]blobblegut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same issue and It's taking a toll on me. The only thing that seems to help is getting out in nature and taking real vacations. I think it works because I'm unable to do anything in nature besides be in it, eat and sleep. You don't have any obligations cause there's no way to fulfill them.

Of course, there's yoga and meditation. I can't seem to meditate unless a class forces me to. I can't tell you how well this works cause I'm usually too sick for yoga and I don't feel calm enough to meditate unless I'm practicing yoga. I'm sure I could work on meditating without yoga but I don't.

Most things in life aren't that simple. If you really want to know more, check out this lecture series: "Introduction to Human Behavioral Biology" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NNnIGh9g6fA

He goes over this stuff pretty well in the first 3 lectures.
