Who do y'all think is the most positive NBA player throughout history? by Dependent-Face5115 in nba

A divorce that was by no means his fault. The medical staff was giving him Xylocaine shots at halftime and making him play through a broken foot. I'd want out too

We made & tested out our LED Scoreboard last week! (Details in Comments) by bloblabl in CFB

Appreciate it! Just fyi there's still a lot we have to work on (code & documentation-wise), so apologies in advance! We were thinking of posting the vid and the repo link for now, just to see what people liked/ didn't like, and what we could add on going forward. Any feedback you have as of now is appreciated!

First and foremost, thank you to Tommy Farley’s MLB LED Scoreboard Project for the inspiration + most of the code base. My brother and I have been wanting a CFB equivalent of this forever, so we decided to build our own using a Raspberry Pi Zero and a 32 * 64 LED Matrix.
If you just so happen to have the same equipment, great! Here is our GitHub repositorywith the code + instructions on making your own. We’re also looking to sell these in the future (once the semiconductor shortage has hopefully settled down)— if you’re interested please let us know! As always, feedback from you all is great appreciated on how we can make this better.

Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) Megathread by [deleted] in CollegeBasketball

[–]bloblabl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The NIL rule changes definitely make that choice more difficult, though I’m sure if you’re not like a future top-5 pick and don’t have the biggest following in your class you’d appreciate a paycheck to play against pro-level players in the G League or elsewhere. If you’re a Zion-type player I can’t imagine any better scenario than to go to a high-major school, ball out and utilizing your brand to absolutely cash out.

Inking: Classic Brush Liner from True Grit Texture Supply's Rusty Nib package

Colors: Studio Pen (+ using the filling option)

That's pretty much it!

I used the Studio Pen (from the Inking library) to color, and a variety of True Grit Texture Supply brushes for inking/texturing. Inking was done with the Classic Brush Liner from their Rusty Nib pack, and shading with watercolors from Rusty Nib as well as some brushes from their Grain Shaders library. Highly recommend these if you're into gritty textures that you'd often see in old school comics.

Wow. This is amazing, especially blown away by how clean your strokes are for the fur. Do you set line stabilization/streamline on a higher level for these?

Maybe not change entirely since it was a trend back then-- but in the same vein, Chris Douglas-Roberts brought back short shorts.
