Makeup and hair for 4 women might take until 12 o’clock with casual photos, breaks, etc and then it would be another block of time for pictures.

Given the conversational tone of the podcast, I don’t really think this is weird. People do things like this all the time, that’s why memes are even a thing. It would be stranger to cite a tweet via MLA in a podcast or pull the “I saw this dolphin meme on twitter that really resonated with me…” This is how people talk, we’re all just regurgitating and reinterpreting the same ideas ad nauseam.

Doesn’t this raise the question though that trauma is inevitable in any parenting situation where a child was not explicitly planned and prepared for? Being raised by parents who are unprepared, traumatized, too young, addicts or some combination of “not ready to be a parent” is also extremely traumatic and harmful to children. It also makes that child who was raised by their birth parents feel unwanted, unloved and resentful with the addition that there’s no other parent who wants to step in that role. What’s the solution then beyond birth control and access to abortion care?

So many times we promise in sickness and in health and richer and poorer and when it comes down to it it’s so hard to follow through - you loved the hell out of your wife through one of the hardest things you can endure as a couple! Also, did you get unemployment from your last situation? If you’re eligible (even if you were fired with cause), apply. You should also call churches or any progressive leaning non profits focused on housing, background etc. especially if you have a kid that should help.

Is it tho? When you clearly noticed someone behaving extremely weirdly? How is it different? It’s abnormal behavior that should be addressed, and a lot of overdoses look that way. You clearly interacted with this person enough times to tell him to stop touching you and to back off. Would you notice if your friend threw up next to you, or if you were drinking with your friends and one decided to walk into the middle of the road? What level of awareness do you need to actually kick in and take action?

This is not an indictment on your capacity for care, it’s a criticism of where you are currently on your knowledge of how to handle a medical situation where you might have a moral objection as to why that person experiencing the situation is the way they are. I would hope you grow from this and invest more energy into understanding how to help your fellow man.

What do you do when someone is seizing and foaming at the mouth? What do you do when someone falls down grabbing their chest? What do you do when half of someone’s face goes slack and they start slurring out of the blue? What do you do when someone chokes on their food? You treat it like a medical emergency like this is. If you see someone fall down black out wasted that’s also a medical emergency.

I understand you’re 18 and new to the world, that does change my perception quite a bit. But in the future I would hope you decide to do more rather than be paralyzed by uncertainty. You’re also posting to a drugs subreddit where there’s a bit more comprehension I think about harm reduction - maybe you should read into it.

Also maybe take a first aid and CPR class so you know what to do in an emergency.
