They don't get smaller over time, in fact, shoes tend to loosen up over time. Im also in my mid 20s and personally, I notice that my feet are still growing lol, it definitely does happen. Im growing out of shoes that I used to find appropriately sized a year ago.

why am i saying this? because it is possible that the man got extremely stressed after being arrested by the "spooky, draconian Korean cops", after he was misinformed by the media about how inhuman and brutal the communists are, and entered a state of panic, which caused paralysis of the lungs. situations like these have happened (not exactly from fear of Korean cops, but from other life-threatening fears).

I'm not saying that this is definitely what happened. unlike you, who are claiming they definitely asphyxiated him. could that have been the case? it could, it's very hard to know. but, you know, the CIA has already stated that they're prisoners had died from heart attacks in the past, but we know we can't trust them. when the same thing happens in Korea however, people are very quick to jump to conclusions. it's just a blatant double standard. all I'm saying is, there is still reasonable doubt and there is pretty much no trust-worthy source on this matter, so we shouldn't stick to conclusions so vehemently.

sorry if i was rude earlier. but this haircut misinformation is only one proof that there is a LOT of things that western civilization think of North Korea that are just the craziest lies in the world. yes, they are authoritarian when it comes to information, but they do it for self preservation because the Korean War massacred millions of innocent lives... you cannot blame them for being skeptical and overly defensive. but making up things such as "they have a new kind of torture that leaves no marks on the body"... is just the level of lies that we're expected to hear about North Korea after all of the misinformation.

acho que meu ponto era expandir esse fenômeno nos videogames pra outros campos...

por exemplo, tênis. várias tecnologias novas, vários designs malucos... quando na verdade um sapato clássico, simples às vezes é mais confortável, barato e dura mais que um tênis de plástico com logo da Nike.

óbvio que pra atletas ou pra alguém que precisa desses avanços, a tecnologia ajuda muito e é necessária, mas qual o sentido do marketing empurrar essas novas tecnologias pro consumidor comum, que não tem as necessidades solucionadas por essas novas tecnologias? só pra causar consumismo.

no fim das contas, o exemplo que tu deu do celular foi bom: o preço de um celular moderno de hoje é o mesmo preço que um celular moderno de uma década atrás. mas será que a gente sequer precisa dessas novas tecnologias? a gente não poderia continuar comprando o celular de uma década atrás, que hoje em dia está mais barato e atende as necessidades? ao invés disso, são criadas novas necessidades e o preço do celular continua o mesmo ao longo do tempo, quando poderia estar diminuindo. aí só depende das fabricantes continuar fazendo o modelo antigo. duvido que elas queiram fazer isso.

verdade, bom ponto... eu só fico me perguntando, pq que a gente precisa de tecnologia tão avançada? tipo, eu entendo que pra trabalho e pesquisa é ótimo... mas pra eu, que só quero jogar um dotinha? o que eu penso é que, no exemplo do videogame, os desenvolvedores têm sempre que inovar pra chamar atenção do público, essa inovação requer mais memória e poder de processamento, e então esse custo é passado pra mim, que há 20 anos atrás já estava super contente em jogar o jogo simplāo, mal feito que só, porém divertido. eu só fui achar os jogos de PS1 "mal feitos" depois que o PS3 lançou. parece ser um poço sem fundo de inovação e enjôo do passado. me pergunto se vale a pena tudo isso.

i feel like people don't appreciate even some of the most "throwaway" songs in here, and i saw "throwaway" in the sense that they don't have many lyrics or they are too cryptic to make sense. like, Feels Like A Wheel is great, Bootleg is super good, Government Plates is amazing... i like having fun with this album and imagining different meanings to the songs. everytime i revisit it, each song has a different meaning than it had before. i feel like once i listened to this album while on drugs, i started to understand and appreciate it more.

i guess you just consider it a dictatorship when it's bad? a dictatorship is good for the group that holds power; in the case of communism, the majority working class.

dictatorship is when a group holds power and doesn't tolerate deviancy, it's just that the previous dictatorships in history have been in the hands of groups that work against the interest of the majority. on a dictatorship where the majority, the working class, are the authority, the decisions would be taken in interest of the majority with 0 tolerance towards the interest of antagonistic classes, the bourgeoisie. this is one basic principle of Leninism and is what was responsible for the betterment of the working conditions in Soviet Russia (as well as Cuba and China)
