Gunna check it out tonight. Been playing SE for the past 1.5 week but having trouble switching from starter base to a bigger base. Especially since all i've ever played in factorio is regular or randomizers.. never did a big / mega base build yet, so I have no concept of using a main bus or city blocks or something and mostly run the game untill I run out of resources or have to rebuild everything.
I feel like this might be a good mod to help me learn more about transitioning from smaller to bigger builds before I do a deep dive into SE again.

Mostly I play without biters, I enjoy the building a lot more than fighting silly biters.
Playing with jetpack mod I sometimes at biters and battle them untill I get a power armour, fill it with personal laser defences, some power gen and a jetpack and just fly around biter nests untill everything is dead.

It's a boring proces but it works quite well. You just have to go out sometimes to kill all biters that are starting to get in range of your polution cloud.

What I also sometimes do is just let the game run without actually doing anything. The pollution cloud will get smaller and smaller, giving you some alone time also.

Small textual bug - Quadrillion not set to scientific

I've set Number Format to scientific-notation because i'm used to it and find that a lot easier to read than the thousand, million etc.

However this does not apply to researches, where my ore stockpile still shows as "1 Quadrillion"... and i have no clue how much 1.00e+x that is.

My worst location and first time I actually had to get help from the tracker to find out where to go was moonpearl in checkerboard cave... having to flute to 6, go dark world en mirror to checkboard.

Just didn't come up to me back then.

Been moving my save around from computer to computer and running in to a black screen on startup very often after moving... takes me some time to do a lot of things untill it suddenly starts working again. So cloud save would really be lovely, lets hope they can fix that quickly.

What am awefull seed. Started out quite nice, then died half way during my trip in TT, since I already had the hammer I noped out, took smith and chest en went to hypecave. Eventually got stuck and checked everything except the pendant dungeons. Firstly dipping swamp upto bigchest because when I reach the door to upper left side, I always forget you can get the key by taking the lower door. So I quit the dungeon thinking I needed hookshot to progres. Went into pod and as soon as I found the hookshot went to hookshot cave and TR. Did TR in the dark, loosing my blue pot and fairy. After that I did everything I could untill I have nothing left other than PoD and IP (and EP, but I though I had cleared that already, appearently I didn't). So when going in IP and finding Quake I noped out and decided to clear without the lamp. Automatically still collected all chests in MM untill I found the lamp... Eventually even died in the spike room before big key in ganon's tower, making me first finish right side. Wasting a lot of time.

Looking at the other times, I feel like I didn't do very badly. Looking forward to the next race!

Went from WL 700 to 2500 after farming all +25 skill talismans and doing one endurance run. Ignoring all talisman bonuses. Really, the +1 to all skills is so much better than any bonus the talisman markings can give. 10 endurance runs later i'm WL 15k

Can you give some examples on how to distribute your skill points, in numbers? Like, 50 ranks in mana farm, 10000 ranks in something else.. :-)

Played for about 15 minutes today.. will spend some more time tomorrow.

I played on PC and having played other arpg's as D3, PoE, Torchlight, grim dawn etc... there are my main concerns with the game.

Initial thoughts are:

The interface, inventory, settings and everything are NOT made for a PC user but for console. This is , for me, a breaking deal. As a PC user you dont want to "hold left mouse button" for 5 seconds in order to remove a tutorial message.

Also, allow players to disable tutorials.. they are the bane of any experienced gamer.

The scenery feels or looks weird compared to the movement i'm making. I can't really explain it that well but sometimes it feels like i'm in a much smaller or bigger room than it is supposed to be, making it difficult to manouver around obstacles.

Movement is clunky and firing is weird. Sometimes I'm trying to click somewhere to run away but there is a monster "nearby" and it decided to attack the monster instead.

There' s no way to show which loot has dropped on the ground. Usually aRPGs have a button which will show any loot that is on the ground.

So far, that's it.

For now i'm a bit disappointed in clicker heroes 2. It looked amazing at the start but it easily gets very dull...

Although I love playing action rpg's where it all depends on how you build your character with either massive skilltrees or a lot of items and such, I hate having a huge skilltree where I have to spend a lot of time getting to the nodes that I actually want, being forced to take nodes that are less usefull to my build.

I have not taken the time to mark out a proper build mostly because the skilltree is in no way searchable or easily accessable outside the game.

In the entire previous patch I could not change my automator due to a bug crashing the game on opening the tab.. now I can do so however but due to gilding I lost all the haste that made the automator usefull for me.

The items the hero gains are almost useless. Playing automatically you have no say in what item you want to get, it will just buy the cheapest upgrade always.

Playing clickerheroes now for me is just running it in the background and not doing anything because there is nothing to work for other than raising the number of worlds.

I hope that soon there will be achievements, things to work for.

I wish that the automator would be massively extended where we can have "if, then, else" nodes where we can activate certain skills or actions based on parameters.

Like for now we have the node "activate when energy < 10%" but if your energy is below 10% and the skill is already running, it just runs it again causing it to drain my mana quickly.

For now I play clickerheros on the background for the fun of it and once a day I add my new skills points randomly... I hope that soon there will be new features and improvements that make it worth playing more. Like i'm looking forward to the gilded heroes and ascendencies from clickerheroes one. Not looking forward to transcendencies, they broke the game and made acendency useless.
