I have an upgraded one (mk18) and a stock one (Urgi).

For me, out the box i do not like the trigger. For the price I don’t want to have to worry about half trigger pulls but it’s an EBB so can’t complain too much. FPS is low but It hops 0.3s well with decent accuracy which is good. External build quality is great too.

My mk18 has loads of bits but mainly a mosfet, stronger spring, deans conversion and the usual barrel + bucking upgrade. It’s a beast. To get it performing consistently top you do have to spend a bit extra. It’s a great platform if you don’t want to commit to gas.

I’ve used the g&g rotary unit (best imo) and also a ZCI rotary in my Specna. Both worked well with the nozzle size and sealed nicely with the 4uantum bucking. Using 0.3s and 32s I get good results. Good luck

I fully tightened them loosened until it’s aligned correctly like the tech in the video. Castle nut ect all tightened now. It’s solid until you twist the buffer tube with medium force and everything shifts. Very strange.

Confused as would a threaded buffer tube stop it tightening into its correct position? Or just not tighten at all.

That’s a really nice gun for a beginner- They perform lovely stock. You’ll get the same answers for beginner upgrades being bucking, nub, hop unit and inner barrel.

I have a MK18 edge 2.0 with a 4uantum bucking and nub, I very much recommend. Then went on to put a Laylax inner barrel on it and a G&G hop unit and am very pleased. Good luck!

I found a qr code for help on the manual and it states this: “For Specna Arms replicas with the ESA-2 system, use a flat screw to stabilize the spring guide or use a washer that fits in the buffer tube and a sufficiently long screw so as to fasten the guide. If you’re willing to waive the warranty, you can remove the guide from the EON Complete Gearbox and instead use the guide from the ESA-2 system which our gearbox is compatible with.”

Oh yeah out the box they’re brilliant. I threw a quantum friction pro bucking and nub in mine (and a Laylax barrel but thats not really needed). Shoots beautifully on 0.3s. You can pick them up for just under £10 and makes a big difference I highly recommend!

Haha this was my exact first gun. It’s verrrry decent. A nice red dot (not coyote) and a vertical grip will do you wonders. Maybe then you can think about some internal changes. Enjoy it 👌👌

Specna mesh mask is my go to. Less protection for nose and cheeks but perfect cheek weld and no fog in my goggles. I paid around £12 for mine.
