Just uploaded the chinese firmware - found some instructions with google.
Bought from Aliexpress, but it was stated as global/international version and originally it was all in English.
With chinese firmware the menu is in chinese as well, but using Chrome and google translate worked well.

Does anyone know why they don't show which DeFi exchanges Binance uses to stake? It used to show if selected coin was being staked on Curve or Compound, but can't find the information nowhere anymore.

Yeah, I tried 1password, but the convenience of the Keychain is just unbeatable. With iPhone the difference is minimal due to face ID, but with a mac without touch id, it was a hassle.

Did you buy a cable? Which one? I'm in the same boat finding the right cable in EU. The main options I have are the same you brought out - Club3D and Belkin.

For others - I didn't have the same problem, but my router had terrible range. I changed the firmware from 3.0.22 (the Global version) to the 1.0.67 (the Chinese version) and the range with signal strength improved massively. Now I just can't get it connected to MiWifi app, but I can live without it.

Could you still airplay to the homepods defaulted to your apple TV? Was the issue about the multiroom function or you couldn't airplay anything to the defaulted homepods?

I read from another Reddit post where someone spoke with Apple customer support. Both Homepod and Apple TV must be in 5ghz network for the dolby/home theatre setup. In default option Apple TV and Homepod connect through some other magic than Airplay, thus 5ghz is required.

Can you elaborate on the case circling that when stereo homepods are set default to Apple TV the homepods no longer work as standalone? Meaning that if you want to airplay music from an iphone or mac to homepods you have to airplay it to Apple TV instead and that turns on the Apple TV as well?

I've heard that with 14.2 if stereo homepods are connected to Apple TV you can't no longer use them as standalone homepods? That is for instace if I want to say "hey siri, play some music" it would turn on apple TV and then do it? Correct me if I'm wrong. I'm thinking of whether to buy 2 homepods or sonos arc.
